Barking budget trip
Pros:

The hotel is in a locality where all eminities are close by (Walkable) . We were on a tight budget thus this hotel was just right for us.

Will definitely be staying again when in London next time.

Cons:

There was a smell in the room . Not sure if it was guttering or damp. However we were changed into a another room due to door lock not working so it was not a big issue .

I stayed here with my young family, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. One of the rooms we were given smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, as though someone had just been smoking in the room before we arrived. This was particularly unpleasant as I was staying there with young children.

When I raised the issue, the staff member was rude and unhelpful. Eventually, the room was changed, but the whole experience was stressful and unpleasant. I expected a clean, fresh-smelling room and more professional and respectful customer service.

Overall, I was very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this place to families.

Great value for money
Pros:

Staff were very helpful. Bedroom, although very basic, it was spotlessly clean as in addition was the bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Choice of breakfast food was very good. All in all I was very happy.
