Ok but definitely budget but should be cheaper as price didn’t reflect how basic it was

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt wunderbar geeignet mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Wir hatten 2 DZ mit Klimaanlage und Frühstück gebucht. Wir bekamen 2 DZ im EG ( 114 & 117) mit Ventilatoren bei 37° Außentemperatur. Auf Nachfrage sagte man uns, da das Hotel ausgebucht sei, könnten wir erst am Folgetag ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage bekommen. Also hatten wir über Nacht die Fenster und die Türen zum Flur geöffnet, der Ventilator lief und es war auszuhalten. Die Zimmer lagen zum Innenhof und mit Ohrstöpsel war die Lautstärke des Highways kaum wahrnehmbar. Am Folgetag kam man auf uns zu als die Zimmer zum Wechseln bereit waren. Diese waren gut klimatisiert, auch sehr sauber und etwas größer. Die Ausstattung war gleich, da hätten wir uns aber zu mindest eine Ablagefläche für die Rucksäcke bzw Koffer gewünscht. Aber für 2 Tage gut machbar.
Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Es gab nur eine breite Zudecke, so wie es in UK üblich ist. Auf Nachfrage hätten wir aber eine 2. Decke bekommen können.
Im Badezimmmer roch es unangenehm nach Abwasser, was aber wohl an dem Abwassersystem in UK liegt, da die Syphons nach Benutzung leer laufen und dadurch Gerüche entstehen. Die Duschtücher waren groß und flauschig. Einen Fön kann man an der Rezeption leihen. Duschgel, Seife etc. sind in Ständern vorhanden.
Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Gefehlt hat uns eine warme Variante wie Rührei. Aus dem Wasserautomat konnten wir zu jeder Zeit unsere Wasserflaschen auffüllen was bei den hohen Temperaturen sehr gut war.
Getränke wie z. B. Coladose, waren mit 2,65€ für ein Hotel in Ordnung. Kleine Snacks wie Chipse, Nüsse waren ebenfalls nicht überteuert.
Zur Barkingstation war es durch den angrenzenden Park und der Hauptstraße ca. 15min Fußweg. Aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen haben wir uns aber für 7€ einen Uber gegönnt, der vor Ort an einem Terminal gebucht werden konnte.
Zum London Stadium, wo das Take that Konzert stattfand, sind wir auch für 20€ mit dem Uber gefahren, der uns direkt bis zum Eingang gebracht hat. Beste Entscheidung!!

Cons:

Staff - I had booed for a room with AC and had clarified over email and the messages. When I reached that at 1 in the morning just ready to crash, the reception guy said i am sorry, i understand but i have no AC rooms available. We argued for 5 minutes and i just gave up and left to go to Premier inn next door. When i reached the gate, then he called me back and said oh there is 1 room available, i was looking at the wrong window. He was somehow trying to push me to take the room without the AC, and misusing the fact that I just need to sleep at that time. Then in the morning another staff member was there and I asked her if the breakfast is included, she said what is your room number, and I didnt remember because i came late in the night so i asked her if she can check from my card. She took my card and gave it back and said I don't know sorry. I am like okay you can check from my name then and then a bell ring in her head that she can do that as well. Whoever has taken the franchise is not training the staff at all.
