Overall, fantastic stay and if I'm back in the area,I'd stay here again.
Pros:

The little garden at the front was lovely. There were plenty on chairs and tables for everyone and large tree where we moved our table to sit under to hide from the sun. The food and drinks were lovely. The workers very friendly. They checked on us every few minutes to see if we wanted anything else. I loved that no place was out of bounds for my dog. Very pet friendly hotel! We felt very comfortable and very welcomed and it's the best pet friendly hotel I've stayed in! Very large parking area, no issues finding a spot at all. Lovely sitting area at the reception, comfortable sofas and a lovely bar right next to it.

Cons:

When we arrived, the coffee cups in the room were clearly dirty so I needed to ask for clean ones, and the next morning after the room was serviced, the coffee cups were replaced but they were dirty again, so I had to ask for new ones again
and we weren't given new bottles of water for the room. I didn't like the shower, the shower head was attached to the wall with no way to move it and a small glass shield at the side,so the water went all over the floor. There is no air conditioning in the room so with the heat wave,even though we were able to open the windows all the way, it was still exceptionally warm, so every 40mins we kept going downstairs and asking for a bucket of ice so we could keep somewhat cool and I kept using them for the dogs water bowl too.

Location good for our tour. Bar food good.

Cons:

Bedroom and bathroom tired. Breakfast coffee tasted salty as if something hadn’t been rinsed correctly.

Pros:

We arrived early not expecting to be able to check in, but there was no problem. The lady on the reception desk could not have been more friendly, accommodating or helpful. The breakfast was busy, but again the staff were so efficient and friendly and the food was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable and as it overlooked a field at the back, was super quiet even though a wedding was in full swing.

Charged extra for one of the two rooms I booked with Booking.com as they could only find the booking for one room (even though I showed them the email I had received confirming the booking for two rooms)
