This hotel is not a 4 star hotel based on room, safety or experience.
Pros:

Food in restaurant was lovely and would recommend this.

Cons:

I stayed for three nights. The room was not a 4 star hotel room, but was quaint enough.
Another person unlocked and began to enter my room am at 23.45 at night via a key. I had the door locked from the inside and they had a key to unlock the door while I was there. This raised a serious security issue for me both in terms of personal safety and for my belongings when I was not in the room. There was no phone in the room to alert the porter or reception, which increased the security deficit and my safety concerns. i needed to barricade the door with furniture and my case to offer some level of safety. When reported, I was informed by the manager they didn't know how this happened, its obvious the keys open multiple rooms or the person was given the key - either way it is unacceptable. The noise on the corridor i was staying was excessive, the banging only ceased at 01.30 am and resumed again at 06.00, I was informed the corridor had working people staying so they should have been in bed early - really. I was moved room the next day, however based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to any person travelling alone.

Business trip 2026
Pros:

Quiet and easy to park. Food in bar was ok.

Cons:

In need of modernisation, no windows (there were 2 windows with limited opening into a brick wall, about 6-10” away.

Beds were supposed to be double,, but really were just large singles
