Pros:

Nydelig område med fantastisk basseng midt mellom husene. Store rom med deilig uteområde (balkong). Tilbereding av frokost som ble servert på balkongen - topp start på dagen. Hyggelige ansatte.

Pros:

Location was great. Overall a beautiful place with beautiful villas.
Would go back.
Staff was also friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The bathroom.. Especially the one upstairs was not functioning and was not functional. It was spoiled and one had to use a bucket of water to flash.
The breakfast provided was quite basic and not worth it.

Positivo il soggiorno stile africano, poco chiari riguardo al pagamento della cena. Meglio accordarsi prima o andare a fare la spesa con loro se si ha tempo. Una volta se ne è andata la luce ma dopo poco è ritornata, hanno attivato il gruppo elettrogeno probabilmente che faceva rumore dal mio appartamento. Dopo un' ora ha smesso.

Pros:

A lovely place to stay in Watamu. For a nominal fee they cooked us a good meal of chicken and chips. fyi, pay up front in cash - exact amount required.

Lovely villa and would recommend overall.
Pros:

Lovely villa was an amazing pool. Lots of room and our private chef Jonson was also fantastic.

Cons:

The caretaker was not very welcoming and didn’t really show us the place when we arrived. The air conditioning was not working in the first night and simple things such as the kettle not working couldn’t be explained until we messaged the host. She also never really engaged with us and when she would arrive or leave. It’s shame as we stayed at another villa the week before in the same Rafiki village and our caretaker was a stark contrast and very helpful.

Beautiful but misrepresented
Pros:

It’s a very pretty house, interestingly designed and tastefully decorated. The pool is lovely. The cook, Elvis is very good and most charming. The host is delightful and very welcoming. When we had no cold water, a plumber was called and the problem solved. We were amused by the Masai guard speaking to us in Italian!

Cons:

The property is misrepresented on Booking. There is air conditioning only in two of the three rooms, not the whole villa. The pool is not “private” it is shared by 10 villas. The properties are very close together, so you can hear everyone’s conversations. The property is far from the ocean, about 1.5km to walk and incorrectly shown on the map.
The cleaner was very good at cleaning, but spent too much time hanging about and moved things so that we couldn’t find them again, we found her intrusive.
The owner wanted to collect the rent herself, not via Booking, but failed to come and collect it, so it became complicated to settle up later.

Second stay and it’s become a second home
Pros:

This my second time here and I love it. The owner is super responsive on the phone, workers are friendly, helpful and available with no intrusion, the pool is big and well maintained, the location is perfect, and the house well equipped with everything you need.

Cons:

Nothing to be honest.
