The place is SO beautiful - the staff are really nice and friendly - the room was clean/tidy, aircon worked great. The food is on another level. It's one of the best hotels I've ever stay in - awesome vibes.

Staffs recognizes me since I came in twice in 2 weeks. Its a warm feeling when you are greeted well. Atmosphere of the hotel is pleasant and clean.

I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels in Jakarta—you name it: Fairmont, Kempinski, The Langham, Four Seasons, and more.
This was my first stay at Ayana Midplaza Jakarta, and I was genuinely blown away by the excellence of their Guest Relations Officers (GROs).
They don’t just help guests—it feels like they’re competing to be the best at it. And to be clear, this enthusiasm never comes at the expense of teamwork. On the contrary, they work seamlessly together while still delivering very personal service to every guest.
From the moment I arrived for check-in, the GROs were exceptionally helpful and informative. On one occasion, I overheard a guest who was unsure which room type to choose. Instead of simply showing photos, the GRO personally escorted her on a room tour—something most hotels wouldn’t bother to do.
I stayed with my extended family, including children. While we were sitting in the lobby one day, one of the GROs, Hibiki Ebihira, kindly approached us and asked if the children would like some ice cream. Needless to say, the answer was an enthusiastic yes.
I stayed during the New Year period, when the hotel was fully booked. Despite the crowds, the breakfast service was handled impressively well—something not every hotel can manage. Even though my family was seated separately (by our own request to remain in the main dining area), the service never felt lacking in any way.
As for the rooms and corridors, the hotel is on the older side. It is extremely tidy and very clean. You do sense its age, but in a tasteful, almost antique way—certainly not in a negative or eerie sense.
Everything about this hotel deserves five stars—except the Guest Relations Officers. They deserve six stars out of five.
Very friendly staffs is my main highlight. Also well maintained rooms, great breakfast, and pleasant spa!

I would like to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at AYANA Midplaza Jakarta.
First of all, thank you for the wonderful experience overall. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was phenomenal! Shout out to the chef! and the service from your team was excellent. I would especially like to recognize Irfan, Jamal and the team at RASA Restaurant for being very attentive and friendly. At JimBARan, Luthfi, Arif, and Devi were amazing and extremely helpful, thank you for helping me surprise my father in law’s birthday.
My sincere thanks also go to Pak Dadang Suherman (Chief Eng) for assisting me with the reservation prior check in, as well as Raihan and the housekeeping team for their great service. Your staff truly reflects AYANA’s high standards of hospitality.
I would, however, like to share one issue we experienced due to a miscommunication prior to our departure. On December 30, I ordered a whole cake for my father-in-law’s 72nd birthday, as it was intended to be shared among 13 people at jimBARan restaurant. The order was confirmed and charged to my room. I remember I signed for the whole cake bill.
On January 3, the cake that was presented after the birthday dinner was an individual-sized cake, which was quite embarrassing as it was presented in front of my family. I immediately raised the concern with Blue Terrace, and the staff advised me to take the “whole cake” from the fridge, without mentioning that I would need to pay. Had this been communicated clearly, I would have cancelled the order as they have sang a happy birthday and presented the cake already.
The following day, while settling the bill, I informed the reception team about the situation and specifically asked them to double-check, as Blue Terrace had never informed me that I would be charged for the cake. I was then told that the cake charge would be removed. However, after returning to my room, I received a call from Blue Terrace requesting payment for the cake. I then went down to settle the payment, although I was very upset, as this situation resulted from a mistake that was not mine. I would have been happy to pay had there been no error from the beginning.
That said, I do appreciate that the matter was eventually handled professionally, and I thank the team for their efforts in resolving the issue.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay, and my whole family truly enjoyed their time at AYANA. I hope this feedback can be taken constructively to improve communication in the future. Thank you once again for the warm hospitality, and I look forward to staying at AYANA again.

We have a nice experience in Ayana Hotel. The ambience is calming and the service is really nice. We had dinner in Blue French Bistro, Mr Defrian patiently introduce us about French dish, we never had one and he's kindly help us to know more about French dish, thank you!
This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and smelled fresh. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The restaurant named Jimbaran really have good food. Especially thankyou for the staff Luthfi, Isti, Devi, and Ghea. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 😍
