They only had one ice machine that was working did not bother to try and even get the other one fixed and there was a baseball tournament and we could never get ice and it was 100° plus each day
The only ice machine that worked spit ice out periodically and it took you 2 to 3 minutes just to fill a water bottle. Several baseball teams were here and it was 100° and you had no ice for anyone.
It was close to restaurants and the freeway. The Oatmeal was good.
The rooms are very outdated, TV’s are like 19” and too small. One of the remote controls in my room didn’t work. The toilet seemed smaller than normal. Gentleman’s toilets should be considered. The shower smelled mildewy and there was no coffee ready both times I went to the lobby in the morning.. One morning, I couldn’t find a staff person to ask about the coffee.
Breakfast was wonderful!
Our room wasn’t that clean but was ok
The bed was poorly made, actually appeared like it hadn’t been changed, maybe slept on. Wrinkled sheets, etc. however staff responded quickly and changed the sheets for me. This hotel is a little rough, needs help
Outside pool area very nice. Very clean and landscaped beautifully.
The carpeting in our room was disgusting. It looked filthy. The carpeting in the lobby going up to the second floor was also very dirty.
The bed is comfortable, the room reasonably clean. Both TVs worked this time. Some how the internet was not connecting this time though.
This place is our go to for our monthly parents get away. It was ridiculously expensive this time, like almost triple what we usually pay. Like we could have stayed somewhere really nice for less or the same amount. The place was busy, but not sold out. The breakfast stuff was pretty much pillaged when we got down there. They were slow restocking the items I had hoped for more protein items as a diabetic but there was not much. The hot tub is usually clean, but had a smell to it and I had to shower off afterwards before bed.
The location is what helps it stand out. The pool and hot tub were also nice.
The flooring was all dirty. The carpets were not vacuumed. The sink was in disrepair. We complained about all this to the manager. Everything was outdated. There were knobs on the dressers that were broken. Scratches on and nicks on everything. Very outdated.
As expected with good food, decent rooms and amenities! :)
Location was a little weird but easy enough to find
The location was great. The breakfast was very good. The room cleanliness was very good.
Shampoo was empty. Only one chair in the room. Bed size was only a regular double.
The location was convenient
The exterior and reviews made it seem like this hotel would be updated and clean- it needs a thorough clean from the main entrance and stairs going up to the rooms and bathrooms.. the bedding including the dust ruffles were stained , the bathtub had a constant drip and multiple patched and crumbling holes not to mention the beard hair all over the sink..
The breakfast was solid, the room was sizeable and a good suite. Parking was easy and staff was friendly, and they accommodated our late arrival due to weather delays without issue. The room came well stocked for this kind of of hotel (more or less) and we appreciated the spare blanket and pillow. A/C etc worked well, and the extra space was nice to have as we were there for a bunch of different events and being able to spread out our various items helped. The plugs by the bed were helpful. The bed itself was large and pretty comfortable, though I really wish hotels would go back to having normal sized pillows. Bed was a great height. I personally think the price was a bit much, but I can never see to find ANYWHERE reasonably priced throughout phoenix, tempe, and mesa, so with that in mind this was fairly priced.
The living room lights were broken (overhead and desk), the curtains weren't very strong against the desert light, the window facing the highway and parking lot gave us some privacy concerns (may not be justified, we didn't check to see if they were mirrored or anything). We received a strongly worded message about not smoking in the room yet the room smelled strongly of smoke from previous customers. We're not super sensitive to that, but if you are be forewarned! I personally think the price was a bit much, but I can never see to find ANYWHERE reasonably priced throughout phoenix, tempe, and mesa.
It was easy to check in. Location was good. Bed was comfortable.
The room was dirty and curtains were broken.
