Loved every minute! My room was cleaned daily, beautiful area and staff was more than accommodating. Clean and a ton of fun. Will stay there next trip. Surfing available with classes on premises which is another 5 star review!

We found this place at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances with our last accommodation. We were greeted warmly by Justin and Mary Cruz. The hotel is across the street from the beach at the north end of Tamarindo. The hotel is clean and offers many room choices. We stayed in a 2 bed queen room. It had all the amenities--fridge, microwave, safe and a hot shower. The hotel also has a gym. There is a swim up bar attended by Fofo and Serena--both were amazing! Our room (204) had an amazing ocean view. There is a breakfast buffet daily--mostly the same items but we didn't care because it was good! The hotel also offers a la carte items for hotel guests. The hotel has a gated entry and offers free parking. The hotel also offers free surf and boogie board rentals. The only draw back is that the hotel bar turns into a nightclub on Fridays and the music plays loud until 2;30 am. We had no issues, just joined the party and had a good time. The price for the room was reasonable and we got our money's worth. Everyone was so accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Os funcionários eram super atenciosos e prestativos. Tivemos um problema com a reserva de uns amigos e eles resolveram com muito boa vontade. A localização é boa. Praticamente na praia. Um bom café da manhã. O quarto que ficamos era bom. Só senti falta de uma varanda ou janela com vista para fora do hotel.

The hotel is more like a resort with a swim up bar. Although the hotel is connected to the Crazy Monkey Bar that has nightly shows on the weekends, some might consider this a noisy inconvenience; however, the shows are executed exceptionally. And Friday night is really the only time the music goes to 1:30am; and it is unnoticeable when you have your doors shut. But if you are into dancing, and like a welcoming safe atmosphere close to the beach with great food, this place is for you. Shout out to Marie-Cruz, Justin "Not Beiber", and Fofo... and all the bar staff. Everyone was amazing.

How do I request a refund for my visit? The noise in our room is unbearable. We are getting readings of 75-80 decibles on average in our bedroom peaking at 95 decibles at 12:15am from the fireworks over our room which we were not previously informed of. I asked the front desk if there is anything they can do about the noise or if they could at least provide us with ear protection so we could fall asleep since the party and noise continue until 2:30am. He told me to put toilet paper in my ears but they don’t have anything and everywhere is closed so I can’t buy any. The service is horrendous, the lack of empathy is astounding, and the management is greedy.

Some other experience were when I asked about laundry service and was informed it would cost $81 to wash 10 pairs of underwear, 2 pairs of shorts and 4 shirts. I asked the local laundry service and they will wash it for $10. Pure greed.

Additionally, there was a miscommunication between the booking agency and the hotel when I tried to modify my 8 day reservation and turn it into 6 or 7 days so I could visit the mountains with my wife. The change was made online but I was later informed by the hotel they didn’t approve it and I would not be getting my money back and would have to pay for those nights again due to the error. It was only after three calls with greedy management that they agreed to reinstated those nights instead of having me pay for those nights again.

Their location is great, food is great, but their drinks are ok at best and extremely expensive. Additionally, their complementary surfboards are in terrible condition.

I love how close it was to the beach, the room was nice. Nicole cleaned my room every day, and she was fantastic, friendly and cooperative with all of my request., the pool and bar area are beautiful, the fitness center was below average it could use some attention, they kept the place very clean. That’s important to me when I stay somewhere.
