Pros:

The hotel has a strategic location next to railway station and metro.
Yes, the area is dirty and crowded but if you want to travel or need just one night stay (my case) it’s is convenient location.
The location didn’t look so dangerous to me as some guests mention here and you don’t hear street noise with closed windows.

Cons:

The hotel is modern but absolutely lacks any design, rooms look like a hospital rooms.
Our bathroom had a tiny old school shower.
There was no hot water at night which was very inconvenient after a hot day

Cons:

L'évacuation de l'eau dans le lavabo était mauvaise.
Il n'y avait qu'un seul ascenseur. il était presque impossible de l'utilise au matin, ce qui m' a obligée à emprunter les escaliers.

Cons:

We had to change rooms.
The first room had no working aircon.
The second room needed to keep pumping the toilet handle to flush. Not acceptable. Manager told us that it is expected from an old building. Not acceptable. We had to remain in this room as apparently no other room of this level was available. they offer to DOWNGRADE us, but not to return any moneys.

Im Großen und Ganzen unschlagbar
Pros:

Vorab: Die Lage direkt am Zentral-Bahnhof Garibaldi ist natürlich unschlagbar! Sehr gefallen hat uns das für den "kleinen Preis" wirklich sehr gute Frühstück. Und diese Dachterrasse!! Was ein Blick auf die ganze Stadt und den Vesuv! Schon allein dafür MUSS man das Hotel buchen. Last but not least die immer freundliche und hilfsbereite Staff am Empfang... !

Cons:

Unverständlich ist die Beschränkung der Klimaanlage auf 18° C, die tatsächlich NICHT 18° C waren, sondern viel wärmer... und das bei schweißtreibenden Temperaturen über 30° C draussen mit einer Luftfeuchtigkeit, die einem schon nur beim Atmen den Schweiß den Rücken runter laufen lässt.
Das wünsche ich mir dann doch individueller schalten zu können.

Great value for money in central location
Pros:

Had a room on the top floor so it was quieter and had a terrace. Very clean and comfy bed. Nice roof terrace with an amazing view of Mt Versuvius. Next to the central station and transport links. Luggage storage available.

Cons:

Not the best area at night but an easy walk to nicer places for meals

De niet werkende airconditioning en ontbreken van warm water op de 2e dag maakte de kamer onbehaaglijk

Ruime kamer, centrale locatie en prima ontbijt

Cons:

De airconditioning doet het niet, dat gaf men vooraf aan. Kamer was erg warm en de 2e dag was er ook geen warm water
Hotel had wel gezorgd voor een ventilator op de kamer anders hadden we een ander hotel gekozen.
