Pros:

Beautiful Hotel very convenient to get around Cape Town. The room had everything we needed for our short stay

Pros:

Lovely courtyard, friendly helpful staff and location on the promenade good. Breakfast had a great selection.

Cons:

Early flight so we were at the hotel by 9. Quickly told we would have to pay for breakfast if we would like to avail ourselves, a welcome complimentary coffee might have been a nice touch. Receptionist said she would contact housekeeping to hurry along our room but normal check in was 2, even after a couple of checks we weren’t contacted until 2.10. I understand how someone has to leave the room before it can be serviced for the next guest but I can’t believe we were the last guest to arrive.
Heard a guest saying their partner had a stomach bug, receptionist said it was the 5th guest he’d heard about that morning. Two days later we succumbed???

Lage, Innenhof, Terrasse und Essen (Frühstück und Restaurant)

Cons:

Service an der Rezeption entspricht nicht dem gehobenen Standard des Hotels;
erst auf mehrmaligem aktiven Nachfragen unsererseits konnten wir zumindest im Poolbereich auf unsere gebuchte Juniorsuite warten und mussten nicht weiterhin über Stunden im Restaurant sitzen bleiben; es wurde nicht einmal ein Getränk geschweige den ein Frühstück auf Kosten des Hauses angeboten obwohl bekannt war das wir einen 12 Stunden Flug aus München hinter uns hatten; Haben uns dann Kaffee und Wasser für teures selbst gekauft. Kundenservice sieht anderes aus.
Wir waren schon in vielen Hotels der Welt mit geringem Standard, aber hier gab es zumindest ein Getränk auf Kosten des Hauses.

Le personnel est très sympathique et ils essayent comme ils peuvent de faire plaisir aux clients.

Cons:

Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas du tout à la hauteur. Le patio est hyper bruyant. La chambre donnait sur le patio a été juste un enfer. Pas de double vitrage, porte qui n’insonorise pas. Réveil obligé quand le personnel prépare les tables pour le petit déjeuner. La piscine est petite.
Aucun charme dans les chambres, juste des vieux meubles et une moquette d’une autre époque.
