Would love to have stayed longer but the hotel was fully booked.
Pros:

Large spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, amazingly friendly and helpful staff, excellent position on the sea front. Beautiful building. Amazing lighting in the reception area and view onto the internal courtyard. Delicious breakfast.

Cons:

Water was cold in the shower, but that situation was easily resolved. The breakfast was served indoors due to the weather, the tables should have table cloths in keeping with the gracious building,

One of my favourite places to stay in Cape Town
Pros:

I have loved this place for many years, since it being known as Winchester Mansions. I was welcomed with a fabulous room upgrade and felt treated like a VIP for my whole stay. The staff are all so good at their job, they remembered my name and my preferences at breakfast and in the bar, little things really make a place special. The food and atmosphere at Harvey’s is fabulous, and the hotel location is perfect for the Sea Point promenade and local vibe, plus only a short uber ride to beaches, waterfront and other Cape Town attractions.

Cons:

Nothing, it is one of my favourite places to stay.

Pros:

The attention to detail by the hotel manager was outstanding - had to leave the hotel at 5:30 and he offered to have breakfast prepared before the departure. I requested just a coffee and it was ready and waiting for me at 5:30
