Location was good, near railway station and main amenities
Old, and bit warn out
Quiet at night, even though there was a function on.
I slept really well.
Room was spacious however twin beds were close together.
Windows were dirty.
Complicated sockets near the beds.
Bathroom was quite dated, but functional.
The view
I am writing to highlight several issues regarding my recent visit. First, the arrival experience was poor; staff led us to a side room and left us there without any instruction. Second, the physical state of the hotel is declining, specifically regarding the peeling paint in room. Finally, the pricing at the bar does not reflect the quality of the product—£16.50 for two single spirits with flat mixers is unacceptable. Improvements are needed in both hospitality and maintenance.
Location opposite Cliffs Pavillion
Only 2 bath towels, no hand towels or bath mat
The location of the hotel was perfect for what we wanted.
The room was in poor condition - paint peeling, toilet roll holder falling off, lack of towels and basics. The staff were less than friendly. When we tried to get a drink in the evening, we were told to go through to another bar where a private party was being held which felt intrusive - especially when they have more than 1 bar on site. Music being played from 7am in the lobby/restaurant on a Sunday is not the type of wake up call anyone wants.
Hotel is a great location for the Cliffs Pavilion and it has great views of the sea.
My room was large with a partial sea view but some rooms are smaller.
Reception staff were helpful and evening bar available.
Room was large but bathroom could have done with a spruce up. Heated towel rail could not be switched off and room was boiling. Fan was provided.
Reception was incredibly hot.
The sea views was amazing
The window was constantly foggy in between the windows panels other then that was brilliant
