Lovely hotel in a great location near the Cliffs Pavillion and very near the sea. Comfortable and clean, and a very cool bar. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Spotless room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
No pastries available at breakfast (not the end of the world!)
The breakfast has a good range off different types and drinks, easy help yourself and didnt have to wait long for something if it run out
Had a ask for more toilet roll, soap and towels as the cleaner never left any or took and never replaced
Beautiful building being updated.
Fabulous staff that make you feel very welcomed.
Enjoyable breakfast and dinner.
Fabulous furniture in lounge and bar area.
Music in bar area would be great.
The signs for downstairs toilets need to be on show too.

Great service and staff were very plesent
It was a break from the norm of the day to day liveing
I felt I was entering a hotel with a glorious past. Updated to fit in with today’s standards, of course. Built 1891 or so with a commanding view over the Thames Estuary. Big rooms too. Felt I got a lot of value for my money. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice location. Clean and comfortable.
Staffs were nice and courteous.
Room was difficult to access as we had to use both lift and stairs. We have a baby, and it wasn't easy at all. It was during the heat wave, no AC and the fan provided wasn't enough. We had to go buy a new fan as our baby wasn't comfortable with the heat.
The location was great for Cliffs Pavilion.
The WiFi. It kept going off every few minutes.
The two Receptionists couldn't understand why, it hasn't happened before in a hotel.
Good location place near to tube station
Good facilities even breakfast as well
Great location, the theme park/main beachfront is about a 15-20 minute walk away. Staff were friendly. Bathroom was nice and big and featured both a shower and a bathtub. Comfortable beds. The hotel has a rather retro/oldschool feel which we personally liked
The TV did not have a USB socket. There was no A/C in the room which was brutal on a summer day. We came back home late at night and couldn't figure out how to get back in the hotel, fortunately after a few minutes a guest let us inside, apparently there is a phone to call a doorman but we didn't see it. Parking was awkward but this was not the fault of the hotel
