Visited the hotel last night for an evening of music (which was fantastic btw). However the layout of the tables and chairs was badly arranged and as there are a few columns some (including us) didn’t get a clear view of the stage and performers. We went to sit at a table nearer with a better view but it had reserved on it. Asked a lady who was handing out more chairs if we could sit there as we’d booked tickets in advance and was rudely told people had reserved tables, and to get one you had to have e mailed her !! Several people we spoke to said how are you supposed to know that when you book tickets. The venue is worn and tired looking and possibly not the best place to watch a band as there’s quite a bit of restricted view areas. Whilst I was waiting at the bar to be served the same staff member pushed past me, no apology, no backward glance, maybe some customer service training is needed.
Lovely sea view, helpful staff, very reasonably priced.
The rooms were a bit old, but still were very comfortable and well kept
Front desk mainly unstaffed. I had to go in search of a staff member.
Female who attended very badly needs a course in how to treat Customers. Unpleasant with an attitude and totally unhelpful.
Hotel tired. Outside is poorly kept. Seems to be run on a shoestring. Rooms ok though.
This hotel has an imposing position on the cliff top. We stayed in a Superior Double room with sea views which were great.
The room was nicely furnished with a spa bath and shower which is a nice added touch.
Ideally located for Cliffs Pavilion Theatre, numerous excellent restaurants, Genting Casino, short walk along the seafront to the famous Pier and City Centre.
Parking was easy with a reasonable daily charge.
We found this hotel great value and much nicer than staying in one of the chain hotels.

Breakfast is standard but expensive for a family.
Location is very good.
Rooms need more ventilation, they are too stuffy.
A comfortable armchair would be lovely.
Big bathroom
Windows were filthy
great location. We even got an upgrade to a family room which was very helpful.
Sea view
Really comfortable
I didn't enjoy the coffee. No latte on offer but that's all
Had to wait a long time before anyone came to reception . Had to look for someone to come to reception otherwise great 👍
Central location, nice old property- just badly maintained
Upon arrival, while waiting for front desk to arrive it was noted that the front desk was sticky. This must have once been a great hotel with higher-end furnishings, unfortunately the place is now looking and feeling very tired; with many stained and worn carpets and walls. The room itself was nicely furnished with a great sea view, unfortunately you could write your name in the dirt on the window. Bedding was clean, bathroom was also clean.
The property was extremely dated. There were no facilities for my grandkids to do during half term. The family room was hideous,no sea view room as I requested. I asked if I could change the room for the experience ,was refused . I said as my grandchildren were small ,we could fit on the large Kingsize bed, again refused . So had the view of the roof and old back stairs I met a really lovely lady who was opposite to our room 107,she had a spectacular room, large bed and seaview . I felt second class when I was her room and my grandchildren were was excited to see the sea . The location was quite a way off of the attractions so I was taking taxis everyday. The staff were not friendly except for Jack and a manager called Stephanie or Stella ,blonde lady was was cheerful and really helpful. Jack couldn’t do enough for you ..but the other staff everything you asked seemed to be an effort to carry out . The Asian chap front of house never engaged with us,he seemed to be the manager,we were there for Five days he never asked us once how we were ..I will never revisit
Nothing, the menu was boring and limited, the same every day ..I had to asked continually for a mug for tea and had most times they said they didn’t have any !!! The breakfast was good but cold at times ..pastries was available all the time ..dinner extremely boring and I found hair twice in my food and my granddaughters..
The only plus is they gave large portions..still I will not return,I paid over £700 for myself and two children aged 4 and 6,not value for money at all .
Very old

Location is perfect! And decor in the reaction areas and bar were lovely
The room was so hot! It was suffocating. I was told that we were upgraded due to not being next to our friends but there was nothing extra.. we had no soap or shower gels.. the kettle had a dirty tea bag in it.. disappointed there wasn’t a fridge especially on a hot day… had no where for my medication
The Location was nice
The staff (receptionist) absolutely irresponsible. I have spoken to the reception two days after my booking to let them know that it is our anniversary and to kindly as for a little nice surprise (some flowers, little treat etc) as most of the hotels would do for someone's anniversary. The man said yes i will leave a note on the system. A couple of hours before checking in i checked with the hotel, if they have taken any action about what i asked for and they said that it is a late notice as they didn't know about it as nobody left any notes about it. I will make sure my feedback goes to the right place.
We have stayed before and love the location, however, we think that it’s looking a little tired and needs some maintenance and paint. The outdoor beer garden could be so much better. It’s a lovely location to sit, with great views but needs some work. It’s a great building with great features and view.
It’s starting to look a bit neglected. It seems that there is a shortage of staff. One member of staff covering the bar and restaurant during the day means long waits for service. She was amazing, running back and forth during the day. We stayed 2 nights at the end of June, brilliant weather. So much could be done to drum up trade for the bar and make it a ‘go to’ place for hotel guests and locals. A massive thumbs up to the lady who served us at breakfast and then during the afternoon in the bar. The staff were super helpful with the parking app and overall greeting. One person on the second day was not so nice, a bit curt and not really helpful. I asked for milk for the room and I was disappointed with the response, I felt like I had inconvenienced her and was apologising 🤷🏻♀️
Thumbs up to the two youngsters running the bar in the evening.
