Under construction but promising
Pros:

nice room with a good location and plenty of space

Cons:

active construction in all the neighbouring rooms and above us starting early every day made it hard to sleep or even think at times. The room was very hot but wouldn’t cool down

Great location to start exploring Budapest

Pros:

lokalizacja hotelu jest świetna - blisko do najważniejszych miejsc i wokół hotelu znajduje się dużo restauracji. dużym plusem była również możliwość wykupienia śniadania (mimo, że nie wybrało się tej opcji przy rezerwacji). obsługa cudowna, zawsze pomocna, więc naprawdę polecam ten hotel!

Wir kommen wieder. 5 Sterne
Pros:

Es ist ein Ibis. Das bedeutet, kein Schnick Schnack, keine besonderen Leistungen, kein super großes Frühstück. Aber, es hat alles was es braucht. Es ist sauber, es ist sehr Zentral gelegen, es hat eine super Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr, das Personal ist freundlich, Supermärkte und gute Restaurants sind gleich um die Ecke, das Frühstück ist mehr als gewöhnlich. Alles in allem, wer nach Budapest geht um die Stadt zu erkunden, sollte das Ibis wählen. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und bei meinem nächsten Besuch werde ich wieder dort buchen.

Zusätzlich zu den sehr positiven Erfahrungen war das Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Es konnte englisch, wir durften Medizin im Kühlschrank lagern (die Zimmer haben keinen Kühlschrank), spezieller check-in check-out war problemlos möglich.

Alles super!

Cons:

In der Nähe des Hotels (bei der Markthalle) scheint ein Drogenhotspot zu sein. Meine Partnerin und ich haben Mitten am Tag Leute gesehen, die Drogen konsumieren (Harte Drogen).
Grundsätzlich ist es um das Hotel jedoch sehr sicher. Wir haben uns auf jeden Fall sicher gefühlt.

Great location. Comfortable, convenient, clean.
Pros:

Very neat hotel at the heart of the city. Location is its best asset. All major attractions are few minutes away by Tram (even walking, if you’re up for it). The stop, Kalvin Ter is 2 minutes from the hotel, so this gives you quick access to Fisherman’s Bastion, Buda Castle, Szcechenyi Bridge, Shoes on the Danube, Hungarian Parliament etc. In the other direction, Szimpla Kert is 15 only minutes walk away.
The hotel itself is clean and modern. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The street it’s on has lots of restaurants with outdoor seating areas, but is very quiet at night.
If you’re sightseeing, you’re unlikely to be spending lots of time at the hotel. But when we did, we were very happy with our choice.
