Quirky property in good location .

Cons:

Being woken up before 8.30 am on my second night by loud drilling and hammering from a refurbishment above .

Great location, nice staff , disappointing that building work was going on
Pros:

It was in a great location

Cons:

There was lots of internal building work going on, which I wasn’t told , couldn’t always use the lift due to builders using it , the stairs and other floors were dusty n dirty , due to building materials

Best western must do better
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Room was in alot of need on decorating, paint coming of ceiling in bathroom, cracks around door and on walls and paint flaking off in alot of areas, lifts was dirty , corridor outside room had wall paper ripped off. The whole hotel could do with a face lift and revamp . Worst best western for cleanliness and first impressions I have stayed

Pros:

It was a pleasant room and nice interior

Cons:

The room I was given the door frame was all broken and damage and door wouldn’t lock , I went down and ask to be moved which I was done but the man at reception was very grumpy and seemed annoyed
