From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. With effect from 1 June 2014, the Penang City Council will be imposing a city tax of MYR 3 per room per night, which is payable directly to the resort upon check-in.

Very big and comfortable rooms. Great pool area and gym facilities. Lovely reception area and professional staff. Beds are exceptionally large. You could sleep 3 in comfort! Bathroom well appointed with good standard shower gel and shampoo. High floors have great views of Georgetown.
A little away from the main tourist area but all in reasonable walking distance provided you are fit. I had the misfortune to have a front facing room on the day of the Thaipusam festival and awoken by joyous loud music at 6 a.m.! That said the events around Georgetown that day were brilliant to see.

Great location close to great eateries, good standard of cleanliness. No issues with the bedsheets, blankets, pillows, towels, etc. We were allowed to check in ahead of time as soon as the room was ready. The staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting us to change rooms when we had an issue with the first one, and providing helpful information about the local area. The choice of lounge music at the entrance of the hotel was great, facilitating a relaxing mood in contrast with the hustle and bustle of the surrounding streets. The entrance of the hotel was set up such that vehicles could safely and easily pick up or drop off guests, as opposed to say a building right off the side of a busy street.
The first room we were allocated smelled of smoke even though the hotel is meant to be smoke free. The internal phone system didn't seem to be working all too well either. However, the staff assisted us promptly when we went down to the front desk in person.
Great location for local food. Easily walkable to the centre of Georgetown. Large room and bathroom, fully equipped with everything required for our stay. Staff were very helpful. Pool and gym are both great.
A water machine for refilling bottles would be appreciated. There is one in the gym but the water was always very hot.

Oh....We thought the lobby should have a station with welcome drinks. It can be just sky juice. Why...cos the weather is super hot n when we arrived at the hotel lobby we want to have something cold to drink. These days most hotel have this!
The pool is the one thing that was such a fake photo and when you get there it's tiny and small, not enough chairs to sit
