From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. With effect from 1 June 2014, the Penang City Council will be imposing a city tax of MYR 3 per room per night, which is payable directly to the resort upon check-in.

Pros:

Clean comfortable easy accessible to main areas

Cons:

Saw other quest cross contamination of flood. Ie someone's used the butter knife spread butter onto his eggs directly and then applied more butter and left knife in the butter

2 coffee machines of which 1 out of order and second one only partially functioning
F&B manager needs to take his position seriously !
Selecting the right staff and training is the key .
Noticed self checking machines in the foyer ! Really ? I thought hotels were about hospitality & customers service , I wish to be greeted by a staff member with a smile and a nice word not by a machine.

Would have been totally satisfied if they had better housekeeping.

Significantly higher rating would be deserved if they had better housekeeping. Grouting of shower painted with black mole that appeared to be totally ignored. Such tolerance for well known health hazard is incompatible with even a single star hotel.
