From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. With effect from 1 June 2014, the Penang City Council will be imposing a city tax of MYR 3 per room per night, which is payable directly to the resort upon check-in.

Nice but can definitely be better
Pros:

Convenient Location. Friendly staff. Clean room & excellent shower.

Cons:

Everything has to be paid for - laundry. Wasn't delivered on time and had a note that it has to be paid for before delivery!

The room is big and comfortable. Good location. Easy to find foods and the distance to attraction places is acceptable.

Honest feedback
Pros:

My objective is always cleanliness and comfortability. These were met with Sunway Hotel. Plus the fact the staffs were very friendly and down to earth, simply made it a more memorable stay. Will definitely return.
Extend my compliment to check in staff that attended to me Mr. Fahmy, who made me especially welcome, he was friendlh, socialble and simply how guests should be treated.

Cons:

There were one minor watermark thumblike stain, (probably cleaners could not get rid of on the sheet), but this can be overlook as the sheets were clean and fresh.
