A stunning oceanside setting with warm, crystal clear water. It was an incredibly peaceful and relaxing place. The property was beautiful and well-maintained and the staff was engaged and helpful.

Struttura bella che affaccia sulla spiaggia di Campulongu, personale molto cortese e ottima colazione. Avrei dato 5 ma purtroppo i costi esorbitanti richiesti per l’accesso alla spiaggia (120 € giornalieri per un ombrellone e due lettini in seconda fila, 150 € per la prima e con un servizio analogo fatto da altra struttura a 100 metri a costi sensibilmente inferiori, 40 seconda fila e 50 per la prima) rendono la valutazione non al top. Il non aver prenotato direttamente (ma attraverso Expedia) non giustifica l’applicazione di costi così elevati.

We were told that using towels and sun loungers at the beach would be charged extra by the hotel, when booked via Expedia.

Väldigt stel stämning i hela hotellet. Från incheckningen till frukosten. Kändes man var uttittad av personalen. Jag klaga på rummet fem gånger att klimatanläggningen inte funkade men de gjorde inget åt saken de första fyra gångerna med mitt klagomål. De erbjöd ett nytt rum sista natten. Jag tyckte personalen var helt enkelt arrogant.

The beach as beautiful as always!
The food at dinner has got much better than last year, was simply a dream. Our big compliments for the kitchen. The restaurant staff try to do as well as they can. It's not always easy to satisfy 100 hungry guests at the same time :).
Massimo at reception was most helpful and friendly.
All in all we loved our holiday here as always!

A very comfortable stay with excellent service. The food was amazing. We really couldn’t fault the all round experience.

Amazing beaches and water, lovely staff and incredible food (half-board highly recommended). Excellent and different a la carte choices offered every night.
2 bugbears which prevented me giving 5 stars-

1) It is usual for a top hotel to provide a couple of bottles of complimentary water each night. SM does have the water in the minibar, but they charge for it, which is a little annoying.
2) They have a private, lovely beach. However they charge 50 euros per day for the use of their beach sunloungers, which we were unaware of beforehand. For a hotel of this type, we would not expect to pay for this (and certainly not so much).

However, overall, we had a fantastic stay - loved being able to rent e-bikes so we could explore the area.

The water laps onto the sand beach right at the hotel’s gorgeous outdoor dining and sitting areas. Very nice people at the front desk. Art everywhere inside.

Had a lovely week long stay at hotel Stella Maris . The food is of good quality , especially the choice of pastries at breakfast and desserts at dinner. Gréât location for thé beach . A bit of a long walk into town when it’s hot but taxi was only 15 euros . Lovely staff . Would thoroughly recommend .

Excellent hotel located next to a lovely beach. We booked half board with a very varied menu to choose from and given the hotel’s location we would recommend booking this option. You would need a car to dine elsewhere. Really relaxing holiday, enhanced by the friendly and professional staff, hopefully we will return in the future.

Great location. Great staff. Very nice setting and facilities.
The room is not great but average. I am not sure I would have loved if it was for a much longer stay, but I may have not paid for a special room. Maybe it was a basic room Inpaid for a received. In any case a very lovely place.

Très bel hôtel , très belle plage , le personnel très attentionné et serviable , propreté des espaces et des chambres , super, petit problème chasse d eau wc très bruyante

Magnifique séjour au Stella Maris. L’hôtel est très confortable avec une ambiance familiale et tous les équipements rêvés. Le personnel est aux petits soins.

Il est très bien situé si vous cherchez un endroit au calme, à côté de la mer, et à portée de voiture ou de vélo du centre du village).

Le restaurant est excellent, avec une bonne sélection de vins Sardes (un peu cher pour la Sardaigne quand même, on est plutôt sur des prix de capitale comme Rome ou Barcelone). Il y a cependant de bons restaurants aux alentour. Je recommande le bachussardus pour les amateurs de vins et de planches de charcuteries et fromage sardes ;-)
