Brilliant location close to the harbour on the myriad of restaurants and stores . The restaurant was amazing both in the food and the service .The rooms were exceptionally high quality in fittings etc.Overall truly a 5 star property, highly recommended

This is a nice, but vastly overrated and overpriced hotel. It is newish, with comfortable rooms in a good location. Beyond the spa and very weak fitness room, there are none of the amenities one would expect of a five or even four star hotel. We notice big gaps in service and young, undertrained staff - a weakness for a boutique hotel. While the location is good, views are not great. Weak entrance doors to the room and rattle when other guests open theirs. Overall, a good but not nearly excellent hotel

We had a wonderful stay at the Magnolia Hotel. The location is excellent—right in the middle of downtown Victoria, with great restaurants, shops, the Legislature, and the Empress Hotel all just a short walk away.

The rooms were beautiful, and we really enjoyed the dining, but what stood out most was the staff. Everyone we met—from the front desk and housekeeping to the restaurant—was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They truly made the stay special.

We had such a great time, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Magnolia again. We highly recommend it to friends and family.

The location is perfect for our purposes; close enough for a walk around the harbour and a short walk to restaurants and the theatre. The property is great, a classic hotel similar in style and quality to Fairmont hotels. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. The staff are attentive and welcoming.

Wonderful welcoming home away from home. Rooms are lovely, staff great, convenient location. Have stayed at other top hotel in Vancouver and love this more.

We stay at the Magnolia several times a year when we come to Victoria for concerts or theatre events and it is always a great experience. The property is in a good location but the rooms and service are the best part. We used to stay in a couple of hotels right in the harbour, but the importance of the view doesn’t match the comfort and definitely not the service of the Magnolia.

The Magnolia is a small boutique hotel that is very close to the waterfront, restaurant and other activities in Victoria. It is lovely, the rooms are great and the beds were scrumptious. Room service bringing ice every day was nice. We had dinner in the restaurant, and it was great. Highly recommend

Lovely hotel, welcoming bright room on the 7th floor and a great location for walking to bars and restaurants. Valet parking is a must.

Outstanding Hotel and Restaurant (The Courtney Room), in fact my favourite in the World hotel. The furnishings and design of hotel room are superb. The staff are exemplary. The atmosphere, music, flowers, design evoke serenity with a great vibe. The location near the Harbour and downtown is excellent.

We loved the room and The Courtney Room. The food was incredible and the staff were all very warm.

Stop looking at hotels. Just book the Magnolia. I am a true hotel snob and I loved this place. So lovely and comfortable. The bed was super cozy and the pillows were nice and plump. My boyfriend loved the Nespresso coffee maker in the room too. The staff were above amazing! So friendly and helpful.
