Room was clean,comfortable and front desk courteous. Cookies and coffee upon arrival.
Elevator was not working which didn’t matter to us but if someone really needed it I’m sure it would be inconvenient. Breakfast was to be open at 6am when I went down I was told it wouldn’t be open until 7am, we had to be on the road by then so we were only able to grab a banana and coffee for the road.
Checked in and my sister and I thought we were going to die right there in the elevator. We weren't sure if we were going up or the cable snapped. I shared this at checkout and Apparently the management was aware of the problem but didn't let the patrons in on it. I think our fun ride was the last before they put a sign on it. I couldn't even get the luggage trolley back down. Also the bathroom door wouldn't shut properly. I don't usually complain but for the amount of the room for two nights I'll take my cash elsewhere. Esthetically it was nice but as they say, it's like putting lipstick on a pig. The breakfast was nice.
The front desk clerk was sullen, unhelpful, didn't help a handicapped person as required (by law as well as by common humanity), and gossiped about "difficult" guests to other guests. The so-called special group rate wasn't all that special; most found a better rate directly with the hotel or via online services. The hotel is a bit worn out and shabby but charged a rate more appropriate for a recently rejuvenated hotel.

Very comfortable location, easy access to downtown by car. Nearby stores (walking distance) if anything needed.
Spacious rooms. Large TV in the room if needed. Heated pool, breakfast (regular one you would find in inn chains).
The room had some quirks that need attending.
The A/C is too loud and there control over the air blow level didn't work which didn't help to the noise already heard by the A/C engine..At least in our room.
Also, bathroom door could not be locked (we didn't need it as a couple, but still).
We still enjoyed the stay, but there is some maintenance to be done there.

The room was wonderful and breakfast great. Enjoyed being able to use the pool, jacuzzi, and fitness room. Really liked the wall shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. The blankets kept you warm and the thermostat worked great! Tv was also wonderful along w room desk. It was nice that the rooms also have microwave and fridge. The front desk answered my questions when I called. Very nicely decorated. Lots of towels in the bathroom and tissues provided. Trash can in the bathroom and in the room. Lots of places to plug in your devices. The text check out feature works great and very late check out time.
The front desk lady didn’t know or lied and told me the place didn’t have have a jacuzzi or hot tub and that maybe I would have one in my room. I went to the pool and there was a hot tub there that I used. It was good I asked for non-smoking because they put us at the end of the hall where there was less smoke smell. People are smoking in their rooms and you can smell it in the halls and cigar smell by the front door even though no one was smoking there. There is minimal workout equipment in the fitness room but sufficient to be able to get in a good workout. There is a bin in the fitness room for wipes but you can tell it’s been empty for a long time because the empty wipe plastic is brown. They should keep wipes in there to wipe down the equipment. They put hand towels in there but they should keep cleaning spray in there so you can use it to wipe the equipment w cleanser. The tv in the workout room doesn’t work. The bathroom smells like marsh because of the marsh water in the area.

I was well satisfied with the facility
The room was great, the jacuzzi tub was wonderful, the fireplace ( though not needed now) was a lovely surprise, and the breakfast was yummy !
