Copthorne Cameron Highlands is conveniently located in the popular Kea Farm area, making it a good choice for travelers who want easy access to nearby attractions. The front desk service is average but helpful whenever assistance is needed.
The hotel offers free parking, mostly located inside the building with lift access. The hotel frontage is quite attractive and nice for OOTD photos. One of the highlights is its walking distance to Kea Farm Market, which is very convenient for guests.
The rooms are a bit old but generally clean and comfortable. The balcony is a nice feature, offering views of the surrounding farms. However, cigarette butts were found on the balcony — not a hotel issue, but rather inconsiderate guests. If the hotel allows smoking, it can affect other guests’ comfort, especially during peak seasons when housekeeping needs more time to clean.
The hotel facilities are interesting, including paid indoor game activities. The hotel café serves tasty and affordable Chinese cuisine, and breakfast offers a good variety with satisfying quality. The warm-water swimming pool is a great addition for a hotel located in a cool highland area.
Overall, Copthorne Cameron Highlands is a practical choice for avoiding traffic congestion when visiting Kea Farm and nearby areas. With its strategic location, good food options, and reasonable pricing, it is suitable for a relaxing highland getaway

Good for family and the pool also good for kids. Should check all facilities at the room since the fridge not so cool. But so far for me it’s acceptable. The breakfast also need some improvement since I did have an omelette with the shell. But so far good for me. Thank you
This place is absolutely disgusting and if we could have found another hotel available we would have moved. We stayed in one of the family rooms and they are filled with black mould and are filthy. Our first room also had wallpaper/paint ripped off, broken insect screens and windows & doors that didnt close and overall a disgusting smell. Staff could not have cared less but I refused to leave reception until they moved us to another room. New room had less smell but just as much mould (even the toilet seat had ingrained black mould! And lets not talk about the fridge) and towels were stained. Room was also next to some sort of water pumping station for the agriculture area now the hill so all night the pump turned off and on and the sound of rushing water was almost constant. Plus then there was the family of dogs that barked all night!
Got a WhatApp message to say that they were too busy for any housekeeping.
Traffic getting into and out of the hotel is also extremely difficult - took us over 30 mins to get out of the side street that the hotel is on one morning.
Food is extremely average and restaurant & cafe area are both filthy. Breakfast area was never clean and food selection rarely topped up so made what was left look even less appealing
The Copthorne brand should be ashamed to put their name to this hotel. I have written directly to the hotel but of course have not heard back from them.
Very nice place to stay as near to attraction places, staff very friendly, staff name sharifah and linda is very good to handle guest . breakfast with variety of food and also room with a large space for my family of 4.
The service at Copthorne Cameron Highlands is exemplary and highly professional. The staff are exceptionally friendly, efficient, and always ready to assist guests with dedication. Their attentiveness to guests' needs is evident, making the overall stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend Copthorne Cameron Highlands to anyone seeking high-quality service in a warm and welcoming environment. everything was perfect..
stayed at a hotel in Cameron Highlands and it was truly a refreshing experience. The cool weather added to the comfort, making it a perfect escape from the city heat. The hotel itself was clean, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, good lighting, and a balcony that offered a lovely view of the hills. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request. I also appreciated the breakfast buffet, which had a variety of both local and Western options, all fresh and tasty. The location was very convenient as it was close to popular attractions like the tea plantations, strawberry farms, and the night market. Overall, I felt relaxed and well taken care of throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Cameron Highlands.
The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Halo, who was very kind and Very supportive thank you very much
This has to be one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. The rooms were damp and full of black mould, the shower plug was so blocked that the bathroom flooded (this was fixed but annoying nonetheless), the kitchen was grubby, and the sofas were disgusting - we had to remove a cushion to retrieve an item and it looked as though they hadn’t been hoovered/cleaned in months. At the point, if we could have found suitable alternative accommodation at such short notice, we would have moved on straight away.
In addition to the poor state of the room, we also had several other issues. On our first morning we were informed that housekeeping wouldn’t be cleaning our room as they were too busy - not a problem in itself, but we had almost used the single small toilet roll provided so had to trek up the steep hill to reception to request more (the phone in our room didn’t work). Two of the three mornings we were here there were workmen smoking outside our room so our lounge area stank of smoke. One of those mornings those workers were using very loud power tools. No prior warning was given. As we travelling with small children we asked them to stop work whilst we walked down the stairs. They only stopped for around 5 seconds so we had to walk down the stairs shielding our children’s’ ears from the noise and mouths from the dust. They had cables dangling from the top floor down to the bottom which were a dangerous trip hazard. We also had issues on check in as we hadn’t been provided with the cot that we had requested upon booking. We were told that no cots were available and that “requests were closed for the day”. We pointed out that we had requested the cot months earlier, and that we required one for our baby to sleep in, and they suggested that we allow our 11 month old to sleep in a single bed. Only when we refused to leave reception until a cot was found did they suddenly manage to locate one.
Overall, this was an awful place to stay, and we would recommend avoiding at all costs.
this is my first timw being here . Hotel rooms is very comfortable and we get the nice view which you can see the light on night . Staff assist me during check in and check out sharifah is super nice . I would to recommend this hotel
