Historic and well preserved but very comfortable. The staff was incredibly attentive. The food was delicious. Riding bikes to a private cenote was a highlight.

It’s like real old school, Mexico.
It’s probably the most authentic place we went to in Mexico. Really, really fantastic. But do avoid the rooms in the old stables as they look a bit dark. The pool is gorgeous and the location really interesting.
Short one night stay but wish we could have stayed more to make the most of the peacefulness and sensitively restored historic property. Food was fantastic and it was a short drive to the wonderful Mucuyche cenotes.
This place is so cool it's ridiculous. I'm never sure why there aren't more guests but having the staff working almost for yourself alone is part of the charm. The crazy thing about this particular one of the haciendas is that the food is also world class. Pro tip: don't miss the steam engine and note that the boiler is being lifted out of the old boiler room by the tree that grew under it. The boiler is so big that your mind might miss what it's really going on with it.
Hacienda Temozón is a GEM and possibly one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Mexico. My wife and I spent one night here on a short visit from Mérida, using a free night certificate from my Chase IHG credit card.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with cool towels and refreshing glasses of ice cold jamaica juice.
The hacienda itself is incredible - beautiful colonial buildings that have been fully restored, a gorgeous swimming pool with shaded lounge areas, and stunning grounds. Our suite was luxurious, featuring a very comfortable king size bed, a spacious bathroom with shower and a separate tub, cable TV, a minibar, outdoor hot tub, and as an IHG platinum member we were provided with thoughtful touches of complimentary bottles of mineral water and a basket of fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, and chocolates. We also appreciated the high-quality soaps and bath products.
After returning to our room from dinner, we were delighted to find a small surprise - slices of chocolate cake and a carafe of water, a nice touch that made our stay feel even more special.
The food at the on-site restaurant was excellent, and the service was top notch.
The hacienda is in the middle of nowhere. There isn’t much else to do in the immediate area, so bring a book, unplug, and prepare to relax.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits pensant trouver tranquillité et service de qualité.
Malheureusement nous avons vécu une mauvaise expérience malgré le prix de 500€/nuits!
- coup de fusil de chasse de jour comme de nuit c’est très surprenant
- arnaque sur les petits déjeuners acheté 45€/ personnes sur hôtels.com et dont l’établissement n’autorise que 410 pesos soit 20€! D’autres petits déjeuners sont proposés mais en suppléments!
- aucun service à la piscine (non chauffée), nous avons passé plus de 2 heures au bord de la piscine avec des plats non évacués et sans que personnes ne viennent nous voir pour passer une commande.
- il faut insister et rappeler pour avoir le nettoyage de la chambre journalier, à 15h il n’était toujours pas fait.
- les repas sont de mauvais rapport qualité prix mais comme il n’y a rien aux alentours ils en profitent sûrement.
- l’hôtel refuse d’appliquer les 20% de réduction membre silver sur les consommations prévus au moment de la réservation.
Sans oublier les pourboires insistants.
J’ai demandé à parler au manager pour échanger sur notre expérience, l’accueil m’a indiqué qu’il serait disponible seulement après notre départ!
Nous avons passer 15 jours au Mexique et cet établissement est le seul a nous avoir beaucoup déçu.
Le conseil que je donnerai et de ne pas séjourner dans cette établissement loin de tout, vous perdrez du temps et de l’argent.
