Overall very good but interstate noise might impact your zzz’s!
Pros:

Great location in that it is convenient to various amenities and the interstate. It was clean and there was plenty of parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, and the bed was comfortable for sleeping.

Cons:

Unfortunately, being close to the interstate is also a detriment because of the noise from the interstate. If you are a light sleeper, then the king size bedrooms are not a place for you to stay. Noise was continuous from the roadway. My understanding is that the double queen rooms are away from the interstate and will sleep quieter. (I already planned a return trip in July to the hotel. I asked specifically about the noise and location due to this issue.) The breakfast is adequate, but not outstanding by any means. There were no hooks or racks for towels in the bathroom and the vanity counter was small.

This is a shining GEM in Evansville Indiana i have been at Garner 2 times and have never been disappointed the property was well maintenance the rooms are super clean and the staff where wonderful the breakfast was very good i had to go there for a family crisis and ask for a room for a family meeting and Rob and Barb were just wonderful in a accommodating us and i will only stay at Garner while in Evansville Ind

It’s a 6-7 of 10. Many meh things. And no cookies like they post as a trademark.

Clean and very friendly staff.

Cons:

Ice machines were out on a couple floors. No cookies or flavored water as they advertise like a trademark. Breakfast was very meh (oranges the only fruit, very limited and slightly stale bread besides your typical boxed eggs and microwaved sausage patties). Also room faced the interstate. Was a touch noisy.
