Would definitely repeat
Pros:

Staff were very helpful in resolving any issues I had (for instance, I asked for a change of room due to some noise, and even though it was not easy due to high occupancy, my request was accommodated). The room was quite comfortable, and I had everything I needed in the kitchen. The location of the hotel is excellent is well, and I found the fitness room – which I used more than once during my stay – quite nice (it had two treadmills, a couple of gym machines, weights, mats, a Pilates ball; and it was never too busy).

Cons:

The building is a bit old, so there were sometimes some maintenance-related issues (e.g. dripping water, bad smell from the drainage), but they were always solved by the personnel in a swift manner. Maybe the most underwhelming aspect of my stay was the "spa", which consisted only of one small Finnish sauna, one cold water pit and some areas to relax, whereas I had imagined there'd maybe also be a jacuzzi or something.

Central och lugnt läge
Pros:

Väldigt lugnt läge vid en lite biflod till Spree. Gångavstånd till Alexanderplats och East Side Gallery och Hackedcher Markt, bland annat.
Rent och prydligt, stort rum, sköna sängar och extra kuddar, dusch och badkar, parkeringsgarage 200 m bort för en extra avgift, inte dyrt för att vara mitt i Berlin.

Cons:

Lite för få restauranter i omedelbara närområdet. Ingen bar-servering på måndagar på hotellet, märkligt, vet inte med övriga dagar. Man får be om städning och kaffe-pulver i receptionen, borde ingå på ett hotell i den prisklassen. Ingen extra servicekänsla av personalen, korrekta men inte varma.

Reinigungszustand Badezimmern nicht ausreichend. Ecken, Fugen, Waschtisch vergilbt, gehören saniert

Mehr braucht man nicht. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt.
Pros:

Wir haben ein Hotelzimmer gesucht, das uns für 10 Tage während der heimischen Basketball WM als Zuhause dient. Dieses Hotel war für diesen Zweck perfekt. Ja, es ist teils etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Personal ist (überwiegend) noch geschult, die Ausstattung auf dem Zimmer ist hochwertigen Ursprungs und hat Klasse (nicht so viel Billig Kunststoff wie diese billigen und aber hip sein wollenden Hotels heutzutage). Das Zimmer bot uns sehr viel Platz, eine praktische Küchenzeile, ein sehr großes Badezimmer, sehr gute Lüftungsmöglichkeiten, eine kostenlose Waschmaschine und kostenloser Trockner, Wäscheständer gab es auf Anfrage dazu. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Cons:

Roomservice/Putzservice war bei 10 tägigem Aufenthalt nur einmal möglich. Das war uns bei Buchung nicht bewusst, ggf. habe ich das Kleingedruckte überlesen. Aber mal zwischendurch aufräumen, Betten aufschütteln sollte in einem Hotel immer standardmäßig erwartet werden können. Matrazen können bei Gelegenheit mal getauscht werden. Wir lagen auf Federkernmatratzen. Das ist heute nicht mehr jedermanns Sache.

- the sauna especially looked and smelled it wasnt properly cleaned or treated in a long time
- the room was clean/ish with hairs by the former guests sprinkled across
- at exactly 11am checkout time a fire alarm test went off for about 20min which felt more like a protocol to drive out late guests
