Pros:

Room decor was good and clean.Staff generally friendly and helpful. Food quality good.

Cons:

Room facilities poor. No hooks for outside clothes, no rail for hand towels. Very little wardrobe space. Generally style over substance. Hotel concentration seems to be for coach party's rather than private guests.

Pros:

Great hotel, fabulous food in the restaurant and breakfast.
If booking through booking.com be aware you need to pay extra for the pool / spa. We weren’t aware of this and did want to pay the additional £30 to use the pool for one night.

Comfortable enough, great location! However needs serious improvement with cleanliness and pricing.
Pros:

I love the location, very close to the train station, great for people like me. I love the layout, and restaurant on site. Beds are comfortable.

Cons:

I’ve booked three times with North Lakes, and each time I’ve been given the same room. The bedding was dirty/muddy on each occasion. The pillows aren’t great as they are down feathers and move to the side when you sleep giving no neck support. I don’t like that the spa isn’t included if you don’t book directly through them. Also I don’t think the price reflects the quality of stay. Maybe if the price included the spa and a food voucher. It’s a shame because it’s my choice of hotel when I come up to the Lake District.

Good conference hotel with some quirks
Pros:

Good location room impeccable

Cons:

Room cleaning regime is ridiculous. You only get the room daily serviced if you happen to read a little card in the room and follow online instructions. If you fail to see the card the room does not get cleaned which happened twice before we realised. Food at dinner for an event poor but the restaurant is good a la carte

Pros:

Perfect mid stop location for travelling to Scotland.
Friendly staff.
Stylish and inviting look and design.
The pool looks inviting although I never used it.
I enjoyed the food and ambiance at the restaurant
On site ev charging

Cons:

In the room the mugs have a nice smiley sheep design.
On one side you get the smiley face but on the other the sheep's bottom.
Being left handed every time I picked up a mug or placed it down I had a sheep's bottom staring back at me.
Rood I think.

Joking aside I have no real complaints.

Pros:

The spa and restaurant. The restaurant staff is impeccable with kids and the food is delicious

Cons:

The front desk staff was not helpful and unfriendly.. don't like that you need to pay to use the pool. This wasn't the case in the past and it was one of the reasons why we rebooked.

Not the best
Pros:

The bar and restaurant was nice.

Cons:

Very expensive food, room service was expensive. I booked an extra large double bed, this was just 2 single beds pushed together. Shower was very unclean, and for the £160 a night it didn’t include the spa or breakfast. Check out was stated to be 11am, I had the cleaner knocking on the door at 9:30 asking when we were checking out to get the room ready for the next guest.

Poor
Pros:

The food was really good.

Cons:

Check-in was fine but when we went to out room was VERY disappointed the glass door to the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly at all still had shower gel on there from previous guest, nothing had been stocked up tea and coffee and we had paid for an upgrade and we definitely didn't get a bigger room it was a standard room, 2 twin beds pushed together where the upgrade we got a bigger bed not just a standard double bed, we was meant to have extra room the actually room but definitely didn't. we was also meant to get bath robes in the room but we get them either.

So with all this we went down to reception to speak to someone and they would get someone to come up and look at the room and get it sorted BUT no one ever came considering we asked twice, which is not great at all.

We was given our ropes for the Spa which was actually pointless, even though there was a sign at reception saying that there was treatments available when we went to the Spa there was nothing so we decided to make use of the pool area!! Unfortunately the pool area was like been at Haven Site which is not what I excepted! would have been VERY useful for staff or a sign up somewhere stating the times on which children could use the pool but if I'm honest that wouldn't have really mattered as when went again there where children there at times they shouldn't have been. Also wanting to use the Spa as couple wasn't happening either the jacuzzi was out of serve and the Sauna was separate ladies and means which was VERY disappointing as we had gone away as couple.

My overall stay wasn't great and I wouldn't go AGAIN! We expressed that we wasn't happy and all that was done was our refund of Spa access.

Also one morning as i opened my door there was a load of dirty sheets piled outside, not what i want.

Also after reading some reviews and speaking to other guess we feel that if you book through Booking.
