The cleanliness. The staff were really helpful too.
The room was too warm.
The staff were nice and the room was big. Bathroom was fine. Unfortunately it was quite a hot day and I couldn't really open the windows. The ceiling fan also didn't work. The shower and kettle need descaling.
Maybe allowing the window to be opened a bit more or provider a working fan? And the kettle needs a descaling along with the shower head. Otherwise it was fine.
Very cosy and everything was very clean.
It was hot on the top floor!!!
Très confortable très bien situé
A very charming boutique hotel located close to the park and a 10 minute walk to Dublin’s main shopping street. The breakfast was exceptional. The room and bathroom were spacious. The only caveat was the bed in a top floor going up stairs. You have to be very careful at night but it does provide the room with charm.
The noise coming from the night club close by. It would have been nice if they had warned us. I couldn’t sleep until 3am - time when bars close. They leave ear plugs in the drawers and I should have taken the hint. Other than this all the rest was wonderful!
Staff really pleasant - helped with parking my bicycle safely for the night.
Room very clean and comfortable.
Excellent breakfast.
All good, thanks.
Had a front room on ground floor - could hear the Luas trams as they passed, but did not bother me or prevent me from sleeping.
Re the question about "quiet room" above: our stay was during the World Cup and the street noise at night was hard to keep out -- this is not really something the hotel could have done much about, though.
Having access to either a refrigerator in the room or a source of cold drinks (via a machine or otherwise) in the hotel would be a very welcome addition.
Huge room, great breakfast both of a menu and buffet. The staff were very friendly.
Perfect location everything is in walking distance or can get the luas tram
Very nice staff. Very considerate. Had prepared the room in ways I didn’t realize, like earplugs next to bed in drawer. Great lighting, soft interiors, really cozy.
It’s in the heart of a party street - which is great for access to the city, but they never updated the windows for sound concerns appropriately. On Saturday night the beer garden behind the building partied until 3am, and I could hear all of it with windows shut until I turned my phone into a brown noise device with “heavy raindrops for ten hours” on YouTube (I didn’t know their earplugs existed). They were nice about hearing me out later but never offered a refund, and I didn’t ask since overall the hotel was amazing… but travelers be warned. It needs some work, even if it was great otherwise.
Staff, proximity to the city, ease of getting to/from Airport
Niggles, not major issues. Room was hot, even with two fans running all the time we were in it, toilet flush handle was temperamental and the USB charge port by my bed did not work effectively - even overnight my phone did not reach 100%
