I want to gate keep this so badly so the price doesn’t raise but I want people to know it’s greatness! I had the best time at the Maison Mere as a solo traveler and I’d absolutely stay again!!
Maison Mere is the perfect hotel for anyone who is travelling by way of Gare du Nord or Gare du L’est… as we were. On a quiet street off Rue Lafeyette, it is ideally situated for short walks to many tourist attractions,
shopping, and restaurants. The team at Maison Mere are so welcoming, helping us in celebrating our tenth anniversary. Merci
Walking distance to Gare du Nord. 5 mins to the metro. Reception was good and efficient. Our room was clean, nice bedding and a good bathroom. Would recommend for a Paris visit. Especially via Eurostar.
Great
Hotel was fantastic for our first trip to Paris. Staff was lovely, they even put some balloons up and a handwritten note for our honey moon. Great location to get in the transit and explore the city. Will definitely be staying here again on our trip back.
The hotel is nice and staff very friendly. The rooms however are tiny, and with large luggage, impossible to move in. Also it is not very conveniently located to the touristic areas. Either it’s over an hour walk (eg to the Eiffel Tower) so you either have to hop on a train or uber to your desired location.
By far the best hotel in Paris - they go the extra mile to make your stay so special. Thank you so much - we will be back!
Very personalized. Felt at home.
We loved this hotel. All the special touches by front receptionist- welcoming drinks, candy, goodbye gift and helpful suggestions. The breakfast was top notch with a lot of variety. The room was clean and modern and much larger than the traditional Paris accommodation would go again and highly recommend it. .
Love it!!!
Très bel hôtel dans lequel de nombreux détails sont pris en compte. La communication est parfaite, très chaleureuse. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
It really felt like coming home. The staff were exceptional.
The
This is a beautiful hotel, the room was very nice. And the TV channel lost is organized by various languages, which is a nice touch.
We really liked the hotel, but be prepared for small rooms.
Breakfast was delicious, staff friendly and helpful
Super friendly staff
The bed at Hotel Maison Mere was fantastic! I slept like a million bucks.
Lovely luxury hotel in the midst of a local neighborhood in Paris. We are a family of four with younger children and splurged on two connecting rooms for the last couple of days in Paris (Suite Friends and Family). The beds were extremely comfortable and the personal touches were sweet with complimentary notes, cookies, reusable bags and a fresh flower. One room had a balcony that opened to a view to the street and was a gorgeous reminder of the beautiful architecture of Paris. The other room had a direct view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. We opted for the included breakfast and it was extensive and excellent. Definitely would recommend.
A few notes for consideration given it is a four star luxury hotel:
The Suite Friends and Family option we chose had two separate rooms with a small common landing area. It required keys to get into the landing area and keys to get into each individual room. While great for security reasons, it didn’t make much practical sense when you have children in one room and adults in the other so we had to ask for door stops so that we could easily get in and out of each others rooms. The doors are heavy so the door stops provided were not effective in the traditional way but we figured out how to make it work.
A/C in one room was noticeably less effective. It also had a large bathroom with tub, which was great, but only a half glass door with a gap at the bottom so a lot of water leaked onto the floor when taking a shower.
Lovely property. Great location. Wonderful staff and local restaurants on your doorstep
Our family truly enjoyed our stay . I marked the cleanliness at 4 stars because when we arrived there were hairs on the floor in the Bathroom sink area. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, the location close to a Metro stop, and the helpfulness of the staff.
