Enttäuschend - 5 Sterne sind nicht gerechtfertigt

Die Lage ist gut, sofern man mit dem Auto kommt. Frankreich und Luxemburg sind schnell zu erreichen.

Cons:

Wir hatten uns bei einem 5-Sterne-Hotel deutlich mehr erwartet.
Wir hatten eine Suite und ein Deluxe-Doppelzimmer gebucht.
Die Suite war groß, aber unzweckmäßig eingerichtet, und es gab nur 1 Fenster, die Atmosphäre war ungemütlich. Im Bad hat es schlecht gerochen, Fenster oder Lüftung nicht vorhanden. Die Badewanne ist so komisch eingebaut, dass man nur vom Kopfende ein- und aussteigen kann, es besteht Sturzgefahr.
In der Suite war eine Kaffeemaschine, im Deluxe-Doppelzimmer jedoch nicht.
Täglich frisches Wasser gab es in keinem Zimmer.
Der Schwimmbadbereich ist klein, es gibt nur ein überschaubares Angebot an Liegen. Außerdem ist es so laut, dass man hier nicht von Wellness sprechen kann. Die Saunen sind veraltet, der gesamte Saunabereich macht einen ungepflegten Eindruck.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes.
Das Personal macht einen unprofessionellen und freudlosen Eindruck. Entspannt war nur die Dame, die im Schwimmbadbereich an der Bar gearbeitet hat.
Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht.
Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass es in diesem Haus um maximale Einnahmen geht und nicht um den Gast.

Sensationell bei Christian Bau.
Pros:

Wir haben bei Anreise ein Upgrade von einer Juniorsuite in eine „Göttersuite“ erhalten, danke schön. Restaurant Christian Bau ist natürlich erstklassig. Auch Bargetränke waren gut.

Cons:

Kein abendlicher Turndown-Service (5 Sterne?), wobei uns schon eine Flasche Wasser gereicht hätte. Als wir gegen 15.30 Uhr nach unserem Spaziergang zurückkamen, war das Zimmer noch nicht gemacht. Wir haben dann darauf verzichtet. Im Bad funktionierte die Spülung nicht richtig,
