Absolutely stunning hotel within walking distance of everything in St Augustine. We loved our 4 day stay here.
There is nothing that I didn’t love about this hotel. However, Booking.com’s description of a premium queen room with a view was not accurate. Room details stated that the room had a kitchenette which it did not. I do not fault the hotel at all for this discrepancy. Booking.com needs to change this.
Had a great time visiting St Augustine. When I arrived, Jake the valet set the tone for a great stay, he’s a huge asset to the team. If you’re visiting Casa Monica, you’ll be in good hands with him.
All the autograph collection of the marriot are below par.
Casa Monica is an old hotel with badly need up gradation.
The carpets in the room are sticky, the bathroom shower has hardly any pressure and no refrigerator in the room this was the first time for me to see that.
Housekeeping was atrocious as they would not even pretend to clean the room with sheets not properly done and forget about vacuuming the room.
The nicest and most efficient was the valet service.
There is hardly any service in this hotel.
"location," "room," and "parking"
Check in went very smooth thanks to Jesse from key west he was very welcoming and helpful
Overall experience at the hotel was a 10/10
Burgers are fire and the atmosphere is great
Enjoyed my time in St Augustine. Jake the valet exceeded expectations on check in. Helped me with my luggage, greeted me with kindness, and gave me amazing recommendations for food and attractions that made my stay excellent and easy. If you are staying at the Casa Monica look for Jake, he will take care of you.
We had a fantastic 4-night stay at the Casa Monica. It’s truly such an impressive and historic property, with amazing decorations and finishings in the lobby. Location could t be better - right in the heart of St. Augustine, and walkable to almost all major downtown attractions, museums, and restaurants. We opted to upgrade to a slightly larger “premium” room and found it very spacious, with a nice large and modern bathroom and very comfortable beds, and a nice view of Flagler College. The pool and fitness center are also both lovely, and there are plenty of loungers by the pool. Restaurant was delicious, with excellent food and service. And the hotel staff
couldn’t have been better - everyone we met was so lovely, constantly offering to give us more bottles of water or extra coffee. Special shoutout to Trey, who really went out of his way to make our stay lovely. We overall couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the Casa Monica - it is quite expensive, but we feel it was worth the price tag.
Adorei o hotel
Tivemos um problema com um quarto vizinho e me passaram que devido ao encomodo teríamos uma cobrança a menos na estadia e isso não aconteceu.
Location
Breakfast was slow to arrive . 30mins +
Gym was very small .. so small no point using it
The valet Mac was absolutely amazing and extremely good looking. I think I will come back just for him.
Went here for brunch and Bellinis 🥂☀️ so yum! Noah was our valet, he was super kind and the service was great! 😋🚗 Will definitely be coming back here 😎

What a lovely hotel!! We were lucky to travel during the week, so the hotel was not busy. I cannot say enough good things about the front desk staff. From check-in with Tina to check out, they were the friendliest staff at any hotel that I have visited. We were offered champagne at check in which was a nice treat. Also, as a Marriott member we received a voucher for a free appetizer or a dessert. A very nice treat!!
We loved our visit to this beautiful hotel and charming city of St. Augustine.
This stay has been extremely disappointing. We were genuinely excited about staying here. The hotel is beautiful and the location is excellent, but the experience has been anything but relaxing.
I have never stayed in such a noisy hotel. The room next to ours has children screaming and repeatedly banging against the wall hard enough that our headboard physically moves. Across the hall, adults have been yelling and laughing loudly throughout the day and late into the night. Dogs are barking in the hallways. It has been constant.
What makes this even more frustrating is that this property is marketed as one of the best spa resorts in St. Augustine. A spa resort should provide peace and tranquility. Instead, the noise level has made it nearly impossible to rest or relax.
We spoke with hotel staff, and they told us they cannot control the noise level of children and are unable to relocate us to a quieter room. That response was very discouraging. When guests are clearly disturbed, there should be some effort made to remedy the situation.
To add to the frustration, our internet is not working.
We came here expecting a peaceful Valentine’s getaway. Unfortunately, this has been one of the least relaxing hotel stays we’ve experienced.
First stay, but not first time there. Very familiar with this hotel and the area. One night, cost is far above average. Dinner at Cordova. Initial appearance is grand, welcoming staff and beautiful decor. Great service in the bar and restaurant. Our party of 4 all said the same thing, food was good, not great - fairly pricey too. Oddly enough, they keep the dining room extremely dark, we could hardly see each other while talking! Coming off the elevator floor 3, as soon as the door opens, wham! Stale, dirty, mildew carpet. I know this is a very old building, but come on, for this price per night! Clean or change the carpets please. Same in the room and the AC was turned down to 66 when we arrived. They do that to decrease the high levels of moisture in the rooms. It was unbearable and we turned the heat on to 70, maybe even bigger mistake. It took us covering our mouths and eyes for 15 minutes until all the dirt burned off. How does this pass housekeeping inspection? The room appears dated with zero modern items, no nightlight in bathroom, no visible phone charger ports, poor lighting, etc. The bed was a 5 for comfort. Water from the sink smelled like rotten eggs when we turned it on. I was not amused at all and really did not want to sleep there but we did. We are experienced travelers and this room was a huge disappointment. Nothing luxurious about it for sure. Not great for those who suffer with allergies or breathing issues. I get it that it is in the center of town and historical, but I prefer to breathe at night than be convenient to town.
