Great location, but the rooms desperately need an update.
Pros:

Very warm and friendly welcome upon our arrival. Lovely hotel and well kept gardens. With the exception of rooms with a garden view , the rest of the hotel rooms had a beautiful sea view.

Very good selection of food.

All staff very helpful and friendly, a special thank you to Rana the lovely bar man, Irene Sousa and Yusuf who waited upon our table.

Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us, but we still had a good time.

Jolie petit déjeuner
Par contre le soir le buffet c’était assez restreint

Cons:

On avait loué une voiture électrique, l’hôtel possédait 2 places de charge ( mais en demandant de l’aide à la réception, personne connaissait le système)
Beaucoup de courants d’airs ( pour un mois de Mai frisquet)

Friendly hotel in a great location.
Pros:

A very enjoyable week at Pestana Ocean Bay. Great location and all staff very friendly and work very hard. We hope to return.

Fijn zwembad. Aardig personeel, eten en drinken inclusief

Cons:

Gebouw was outdated. Veel oudere mensen, weinig kinderen. Niet echt een kinder hotel maar staat zo wel aangeprezen.

Great first visit to Pestana Ocean Bay Resort
Pros:

This place is beautiful. From the picturesque views to the lovely decor, Pestana Ocean Bay Resort rocks it! Small, quiet and relatively close to the airport by taxi. The staff are amazing, multi-lingual and extremely helpful. Manuela Garantito in the buffet Is the best ever! She was so diligent to the job, tremendously helpful when it came to choosing appropriate foods (according to my allergies and dislikes). Nice pools. Cute hot tub and daily activities to participate in. We enjoyed the pool table, karaoke and the entertainment at night. The rooms were modern and a good sized balcony. The buffet changed themes every night and there was ample to go around for all the guests. I would like the hot food to be a tad hotter but it was still delicious. The place is spotless! Overall, it was a great value for us coming from Canada for a week. We would definitely come back.

Excellent place to be. I hihgly recommend. They take care of you so well. we arrived late but they managed to save us some dinner even it was very much after dinner time.

Wszytsko było super, ale szczególnie z dał się poznać z dobrej strony mężczyzna który od 20-23.04 był na sniadaniach - sprzątał stoliki. Zawsze uśmiechnięty i bardzo pracowity . Z tego co powiedział starszemu synowi jest z Bangladeszu. Próbował nawiązać kontakt nawet z naszymi dziećmi co uważam za pozytywne ponieważ w ten sposób pokazywał pozytywne nastawienie do dzieci, które różnie są traktowane z racji swojego usposobienia - dla mnie SUPER.

Hotel bien situé. Un personnel exceptionnel. La propreté de l'établissement.
Pros:

La formule "All " a été parfaite, j'ai beaucoup aimé le petit déjeuner, je suis une personne intolérante au gluten, et le personnel a pris soin de moi chaque matin. Les repas équilibré et varié.
La literie confortable. Les soirées animées.

Very good food, location, veiw and sourounding is beautifull.
Staff is the best of the best of the best. Hard working, kindely and allways smiling.

Pros:

Die Lage direkt am Meer war sehr schön.
Auch das Frühstücksangebot war sehr gut.
Der Außenbereich des Hotels ist auch sehr schön gestaltet.

Cons:

Das Angebot zum Abendessen war leider nicht zufriedenstellend. Die Speisen wiederholten sich.
Auch war es sehr laut und ungemütlich.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen.
Insbesondere das Bad ist renovierungsbedürftig.
