Having stayed at this hotel previously we wanted to go back to enjoy the restaurant and bar. We had another wonderful meal in your restaurant and after dinner enjoyed a drink in one of our favourite bars . We have visited for the last 4 years and never miss a visit to your bar. Fernando our barman is always a favourite with us and his attention and manner are exceptional. We think of him often when we mention to friends and family about our holiday .
I very much enjoyed my stay at Vila Gale with the Travel Department. 11 to 18 November. The staff are just so helpful and friendly.Beatrz,Miguel,Anna,Manuela and all of the crew are just really kind and helpful. You should all be proud of how clean and well maintained you keep the Vile Gale. well done to you all
This was my first time staying at Vila Galé Estoril, and what an amazing experience it was!
I arrived a bit early, and the staff were very kind to offer me an early check-in. On the day of my departure, I asked if it would be possible to have a late check-out for just one hour, and they graciously allowed it free of charge.
As a member of Vila Galé Hotels, I truly appreciate the consistent hospitality and attention to detail. The room was clean and comfortable, and my sea-view room offered a stunning view. The breakfast was very good, and the massage from Sónia was incredibly relaxing, exactly what I needed!
I would like to thank all the staff at Vila Galé Estoril, especially those I had direct contact with during my three-day stay. A special thank you to Manuel from the restaurant, Carla from the front office, the lady from housekeeping, and Sónia from the Spa for their kindness and thoughtful service.
Thank you all for making my stay so enjoyable. I look forward to returning soon!
Very nice clean hotel.
Ive stayed at both Vila Gale Hotels in Algarve. The one in Albufeira this year just a few days ago and the one in Guia of Algarve.
I loved the Vila Gale Estoril hotel and your restaurant Manger "Manuel" was outstanding, offering great personalized service. KUDOS to Manuel.
We are currently at the Vila Gale in Porto.
We love your Hotels and hope you will offer a frequent traveler rewards program where your frequent customers can earn points for upgrades and/or discounts.

Funky older room, old carpets and hallways. Room was noisy, over and alley with tons of trucks and trash services. Friendly staff.
Nice hotel , staff polite, clean areas,
Room service was lacking in that marks on wardrobe doors had hand prints, I'm presuming from previous clients , plus doors kept falling off rollers , Shower 7ft tall on wall ,no handrails,no shaving mirror, as wall mirror very far back from sink.Bed make unfinished as throws left in ball in corner of room ,
Buffet, morning and evening, meals
Were very unorganised, one coffee machine for espresso, and such .
So a waiting line ,? One toaster,
Buffet breakfast, and dinner cold ,or tepet,
Nice restaurant attached, Messa
Fina, hot food and reasonably priced.
Good area,nice walks, good transport,
Hope this helps
Visited on a half board basis in a group of about 30 people. Well located, modern and generally clean rooms and public areas. Fod, bearing in mind bulk catering was of a good standard, good choice for breakfast and always plenty of fresh products. Impressed with staff, efficient and pleasant always happy to engage and help, we had a very early checkout and excellent virtually full breakfast offered at 6am.
God entertainment one evening which resulted in a communal singsong - only downside quite a lot of noise from outsiders passing by early am and, being picky, room lacking a mirror within the main room other than in the bathroom. All in all a good stay at fair value.
Elevator was super small and wasnt working right. Rooms were very large for Europe. Breakfast buffet was excellent as was pool and bar service by the pool.
Excellent service
Good value
Recently renovated small slow elevators
Small bathrooms
Minimal counter space
The property looks dated and it needs some upgrades, the smell of sewage is not pleasant they have to fix this problem. The breakfast was good, nothing special but ok.
We had the best view of the ocean from our room on the 8th floor, it makes sense to pay extra for this view.
The best thing about this hotel was the staff, especially at the front desk. Andrew and his crew was the best, very helpful!
Professional staff for a professional place. Every person on the staff that we met did a great job. Thank you
Grwat hotel, friendly and professional staff, great location with local restaurants close by.
Front desk people were very helpful, morning breakfast was great. Who was very clean and lounging area was in abundance.
Lovely hotel only criticism would be not enough restaurant facilities.
We had a very nice stay. I would say that breakfast was very busy and staff had a hard time keeping up with the demand. We had to wait 20 minutes for them to put more water st the buffet, which disappeared in five minutes. A fountain would make more sense rather than 4 bottles of water for the crowds! Other than that nice property and we loved the pool. Great proximity to beach and to the corniche.
Excellent. I would stay here again despite the scary/funny humongous mural of Meat Loaf (as he appeared in the 1970s) dominating the big wall above the beds. I had to use a false backdrop for my Zoom calls because his head appeared as large as mine. The location is excellent, the staff friendly, and the included breakfast was great. They have live music in their bar and the performer was fantastic. He even did Meat Loaf for us, which everybody thought hilarious after insisting to come up and see my room. I would stay here again.
Good location. But also not great due to the Noise of Marginal motorcycles very loud as well as the parties at the waterfront property going till 1AM with wedding music.
A wonderful hotel, situated perfectly for the beach, the station and walks to cascais along the beach.
The rooms are themed, which makes them fun and interesting, plus there’s a QR code at the bedside so you can listen to your stars music. We had Simon and Garfunkel 😃
All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant situated within the hotel Massa Fina is great. The service was excellent, the food lovely. Such a friendly group, who worked so hard to accommodate everyone.
A huge Thankyou to all the staff who provided us with breakfast which was delicious, especially to Miguel, who ensured everything ran like clockwork. A last thank you to the wonderful ladies who freshened up our room everyday, we were very grateful and to the lovely staff on reception thank you for everything
Maria and John room 710
Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful . Any issues dealt with speedily and professionally. The Italian brunch was excellent and good value , high quality food . The pool area was nice and good food available with drinks on the pool terrace . I would recommend this hotel for value and service .
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights over the bank holiday weekend - it was pretty full but the staff stayed calm and friendly throughout.
Pros -
Location - close by a number of bars, restaurants and beautiful little beach plus 30 minutes walk along the seafront to the centre of Cascais (a great way to get the daily steps in!)
Staff - helpful and cheerful even though they all seem to be doing two jobs
Breakfast - was included in our rate and was pretty good. Eggs cooked to order and plenty of other choices. See cons for tea
Room - shower was good and there was plenty of space for bags etc. Bed comfy
Car Park - secure underground parking for €10 per day - which, coming from London seemed like a bargain!
Swimming pool - plenty of beds to lie and watch people wince with the shock of the cold water as they got into the pool!
Cons -
With a full hotel, breakfast could be a little chaotic - but again, staff did excellent job
Tea - hot water from an urn at breakfast which delivered a lukewarm warm cup of tea every day 😏
Room 201 - unfortunately our room overlooked a run down (unused?) building at the side of the hotel. Zero view of anything but pigeons sitting on a dirty ledge. Someone has to get the bad view but try to avoid 201.
With far more pros than cons - would recommend this hotel for a comfy stay in a great place. Lovely little bar in adjacent road called Pintos - in full sun until late.
We were there to play golf so it all worked perfectly for us. Would stay again if we head back.
