I liked. It was convenient close to Sultanahmet Square
I did not like it. Bathroom higiene was poor, towel ms were no properly cleaned.
The location of the hotel is very centric for the transportation. There is plenty of points of interest near the hotel. Breakfast has choices. The staff in the front is very friendly. We did the Turkish hamman and they were able to accommodate children. This is a very family friendly hotel.
The hotel is in an ideal location as all the shops and local attractions are near by including the mosques
The only downfall is noise levels at night due to resterants near by
I would come back as its an ideal location for the first time in Instanbul and the.view feom the rooftop is amazing
Staff were superb from start to finish and really made the trip! This included ALL staff (reception, kitchen, maids, etc)

Hotel was nice, conveniently located across the street from Blue Mosque, walking distance to public transportation. Breakfast was okay. Staff very friendly. Very disappointed with the Hamam.
Stayed for the day during an airline transfer. Close walk to the mosques and bazaars. Plenty of nightlife. Hotel has a really nice rooftop restaurant that you can see the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia during sunrise. I would stay here again
Staff was friendly, the cleaning crew doesnt sweep the floors, the windows that opened in bathroom was broken. It was quiet but the camera outside rooms on 5th floor kept clicking and turning the light on all night.
Exceptional service
A little outdated but still nice. Hotel is pretty clean, but towels need to be replaced, old and grey with some stains instead of white…
all staff are very kind and friendly. Location is good.
The roads around hotel are close (only walking) from 10:00am to 6;00pm, so taxi can not go in front of the hotel.

We loved our stay at the Lapis. The location is fantastic for seeing the sites and the view from the terrace is so beautiful. We truly enjoyed the elaborate breakfasts and the staff is friendly and helpful. We found the bed and room overall very comfortable.
Perfect location close to attractions. It was a little hard to find as the sign was not very big, but location was perfect. Breakfast was absolutely amazing!!! Staff was friendly and let us check in early as our room was ready early. Definitely recommend. Location is far from the airport you will need to Uber/cab it there. Hotel offers 50 euro transportation. Using metro can take 2hrs with transfers. We opted for Uber (most users are cabs). Location and breakfast was most important to us and air conditioning. This place was perfect. We booked two rooms because we have older kids. The had two rooms connected with a locking door (very nice to have that). Highly recommend this hotel!!!
Room was basic. No alcohol licence but can bring your own drinks if desired. Great rooftop terrace views of the blue mosque. Breakfast was... ok. Room for improvement in some areas but a good stay in a great location.

Hotel is in the perfect location, close to the major tourist sites. Staff are very friendly. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. The view from the terrace is stunning. We would definately go back to this hotel. Thank you to all at Lapis Inn.
I had a great stay at this charming hotel. While it’s not very big, it was incredibly accommodating and had everything I needed. The staff were outstanding—special thanks to Yaseen and Zulfiye, who were especially helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality really made a difference. The breakfast was a highlight—fresh, tasty, and a perfect start to the day. The location is also fantastic, literally right next to the trams, which made getting around so convenient. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
