This place was a nightmare from beginning to end.
Pros:

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The noise kept my wife and I awake most of the night. Found dozens of cockroaches under the carpet after seeing them in the bathroom. Staff was terrible. Actually asked me to leave when I complained about the facility. Avoid this place like the plague.

Cons:

The manager denied that there was any problem at the facility even when presented with pictures. The hotel smells, it’s dated and it’s surrounded by clubs so there’s no parking. The fire alarm went off multiple times during the night. We were moved to another room and there was used tissue in the dispenser while the toilet ran continuously. When we complained they asked us to leave. This has to be the worst hotel in Atlanta.

If you’re solo traveler and you have light sleep do not choose this hotel
Cons:

Microtel was beside a club which was noisy all the weekend!
Breakfast i almost got nothing after 8 am
Smell of weed everywhere
Staff were not friendly

Cons:

We stayed two separate times in the week. The first time was perfect. The second time, I noticed that people would let their door close by itself and it made a loud noise late into the night. I did not notice it the first night earlier in the week and we were actually placed in the room next to our first room. Maybe the hotel can help with the doors closing more slowly because it was loud. Although once I finally fell asleep, nothing woke me up.
