Area fab for are stay and staff very friendly
Bad stain at Bath tap dirty skirting boards side of bed cabinet
Window latch broken and not clean
Great location and setting. The staff are absolutely spot on - friendly and professional.
The restaurant was unavailable on one night - staff kindly organised food for us in bar, then another night it was closed entirely. Breakfast on the bank holiday wasn't as good as the other two days.
Very clean: Hood location. Staff were very helpful!
a pleasant hotel and great value for the money , they seemed to have improved certain aspects since my last trip. perfect location for golf at Woburn, the staff are brilliant Charlotte in particular made us feel really welcome. Decent brekkie decent rooms very clean whats not to like
Nothing
The building was lovely and the staff were helpful. I was pleased I was catered for on the ground floor due to my mobility issues. The breakfast was lovely
I didnt like there was only one roll of toilet paper, the toilet bever flushed properly. The bath was lovely, the only issue was when I had a shower, it was very slippery and found it very daunting getting out, a rubber mat and a mat on the tiles would have solved that problem..The put me up bed mattress was very uncomfortable and I couldnt sleep, I had to switch ends before I managed to sleep
Lovely staff, lovely location, we love staying at this lovely old hotel, would recommend
Only 1 hand and bath towel provided, pillows were very uncomfortable
Stayed in cottage . .Lovely large room comfy bed . Great to have walk in shower. Very friendly staff.
No evening food available on Saturday due to a wedding Also restaurant closed Sunday.
So many for breakfast on Sunday morning... The kitchin did their best but hot food running out all the time waiting ages.
Disappointing cold buffet Breakfast. No choice but a few slices of dried up cheese and ham No boiled eggs no rolls just sliced bread for toast.
All good
Location.
Paying for parking because we’d booked through a third party!
Reception staff person very friendly and efficient.
Would have liked to have been warned when booking that the restaurant was closed that day. It wasn't a big problem as the village as a pub and a nice Thai restaurant but it was nevertheless a disappointment as we had been looking forward to dining at the hotel.
Close to the pub
Curtains and lampshades in the room were very tired, and stained. Needed a good scrub!
I like the hotel and friendly staff but the rooms need a better standard of cleaning all round. New grout needed and attention to areas with cobwebs and dirty grime in the bathrooms.
We had a wonderful 2-night stay in the Francis Moore Suite and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location for visiting Bletchley Park, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Our room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay. The breakfasts were a real highlight: on the first morning, everything was freshly cooked to order and absolutely delicious. On the second day, there was a buffet-style breakfast with a great selection of hot food, all well presented, tasty, and fresh.
What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was welcoming, friendly, and polite, and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience.
The only small improvement we would suggest is the addition of a mini fridge in the suite. We’ve stayed in other Best Western suites that include one, and it would be useful for keeping water, fresh milk, and soft drinks chilled.
Overall, we would thoroughly recommend this hotel. As an added bonus, the Blue
Orchid Thai restaurant next door is fantastic—we had an amazing meal there and would highly recommend it as well.
