Nice hotel, perfect location
Pros:

Perfect location down the road from my mother who lives in a 1 bedroom flat
The venue excellent and staff were really nice and friendly

Cons:

Booking via booking.com resulted in an extra £5 car parking charge. The staff said this wouldn’t apply if I had booked direct with the hotel.

Lovely quiet, well maintained hotel.
Pros:

This hotel is set in the pretty village of Aspley Guise, its a short distance to the M1 and into Milton Keynes, it is ideally situated. It is a quiet hotel, with lovely clean well maintained large rooms, friendly staff, good food and value for money.
I highly recommend this hotel, for couples, families or business people.

Wonderful Service from Terri & a Surprisingly Great Meal
Pros:

Overall, the hotel has been perfectly fine and comfortable, but I have to highlight the restaurant experience in particular.

The food was unexpectedly great — the steak was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavour, and the greens were beautifully prepared as well. It genuinely exceeded my expectations.

What truly stood out, though, was Terri. She was incredibly attentive and genuinely kind, with a natural warmth that made the whole evening feel special. Her service made a real difference to my stay and is honestly the main reason I would return. She’s a real credit to the restaurant.

A decent 3-star hotel
Pros:

A reasonably-sized twin room which served us well. The beds were comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant was amazing: we had an excellent evening meal and the breakfast was more than plentiful with lots of choice of cooked and cold food.

Please don't bother. Really poor condition and terrible service, run by a highly incompetent manager
Pros:

Breakfast was nice!

Cons:

We recently had major building work done on our house, so we needed to check into a hotel for a few days. My wife - who is far too boujee to even look at a Travelodge - decided we should stay at Moore Place in Aspley Guise. She expected a little luxury, maybe even “the life of Riley.” Instead, we got… Riley’s structurally questionable garden shed.

The room we were given (number 86, for the detectives among you) appeared to have been decorated by someone who lost a bet in 1987. The carpet was a scruffy, angry red… the walls a soothing “Shrek Green”… and the overall vibe was Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen having a nervous breakdown. The room smelled both unclean and mysterious, like something had died, revived itself, and then decided to die again under the bed.

There were stains on the bedding and furniture - so many, in fact, that we started giving them names. There were no table lamps at all, meaning a midnight toilet break illuminated the entire room like Oasis headlining Wembley. I’m not saying the lighting was harsh, but I could feel my retinas negotiating their exit package.

Random bits of equipment were strewn around the room as though we’d stumbled into a car boot sale curated by someone who hates people. And for reasons unknown, the room included three completely unnecessary, strategically inconvenient staircases that required all of my obstacle-course training and a small prayer to navigate without injury.

But the pièce de résistance? Our key cards stopped working six times during a three-night stay. That’s twice a day, for those keeping score. Each time required a soggy trek across the car park to reception, where I was looked at like a man from Crimewatch trying to bluff his way into a stranger’s room.

I wouldn't have left this review here too (it was originally left on TripAdvisor) but the hotel GM (Zoltan) was pretty rude in his reply, so he can read it here too!
