We really only stayed overnight so didn't have much time at the hotel. Room was huge. Proximity to the trail around the pond.
Found the hotel dark and dated. Had to go around the back to get to a ramp to bring the luggage in. Stairs at the front prevented us from doing this.
This hotel had a great deal of history. It was also in a nice area surrounded by greenery. It wasn't far from the Cornerbrook sign.
It was a bit difficult to find things inside the hotel, not well signed.
I love the feel you get from this older building. Reminds me of times past. Everything was functional and clean. The rooms are also quite spacious compared to modern hotels.
Was a bit hard to find. Gps sends you in a different way then you expect but it get you close.

The breakfast was excellent. Particularly the service was excellent, friendly, efficient and treated everyone around with professionalism. Serving with a smile really makes a difference.

The room was beautiful. The bed and bedding were quite comfortable. The location was perfect. You could walk to everything in the downtown area.

Historic doesn’t mean it couldn’t get a refresh. Carpets old and musty.
It was nice enough but not exceptional. Our room was far from where I could get to my car, using a walker. The restaurant looked very expensive so we didn't go in there.
Well, the lady that checked us in was polite enough but not exactly welcoming or all that friendly.
Breakfast was good, and the staff did a good job.
Un beau, vieux bâtiment soigneusement entretenu, propre, à quelques pas de la centre-ville. Les préposés de l'établissement étaient très amicaux, y inclus ceux du restaurant. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.
