Hotel Luc, Autograph Collection

Très belle expérience au Hotel Luc, Autograph Collection, où je séjourne pour la troisième fois avec toujours autant de plaisir.

La chambre est magnifique, très propre et confortable, et l’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal. Le personnel est également particulièrement aimable et attentionné.

Malgré ces quelques remarques, je recommande vivement cet établissement. C’est la troisième fois que j’y séjourne et j’y reviendrai avec plaisir.

The quality of the hotel and the services provided were part of an extremely pleasant stay in Berlin. The hotel is located in the city center (Mitte), on an extremely quiet street—more of a pedestrian zone—from which many museums and other cultural and tourist attractions are within walking distance. The famous Unter den Linden is about a 5-minute walk away. The cleanliness is impeccable, the breakfast is varied and caters to every guest’s taste, and the staff is friendly and always smiling. Upon arrival and departure, we received a box of candies and macarons from the hotel management in our room.

Great location and really clean and rooms excellent. Beds were comfy and good quality bedding.Really helpful staff especially the reception staff. Had food and drinks in the restaurant and the food was high quality and great quality

Enjoyed every minute in this hotel. Very clean, comfortable, polite and responsive staff. Rich breakfest. Perfect location, walking distance from main Berlin attractions. Highly recomended

Overall, we had a reasonably good stay, and the room was clean, tidy, and well maintained. However, there were some serious issues that should not be overlooked, particularly for a hotel presenting itself as a five-star property. These problems could easily turn an otherwise pleasant stay into a very disappointing experience.
Late check-out – a serious issue: We specifically agreed on a certain price for a late check-out with a member of staff. However, when we checked out, the following shift simply refused to honour the agreed price and charged us a higher amount. This is extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, unacceptable for a five-star hotel, especially in a city like Berlin.
Although the staff member we dealt with was polite when we complained, politeness alone does not compensate for failing to honour an agreement made with a guest. The whole situation felt like a very poor attempt to justify a decision that had already been made, rather than taking responsibility and resolving the issue properly. It was frustrating, unprofessional, and left a very negative impression at the end of our stay.
Basic bathroom amenities: The room did not provide the basic toiletries one would reasonably expect from a five-star hotel. Instead, guests have to call and request individual items. While this may seem like a minor detail, it is another example of the lack of attention to detail that one would expect at this level of hospitality.
In short, while the room itself was good and our stay was generally pleasant, the service and attention to detail fell well below what I would expect from a five-star hotel. The late check-out issue in particular was handled poorly and left us with a disappointing final impression. If you are paying five-star prices, you should reasonably expect five-star service and, above all, staff to honour agreements made with guests.

Location was excellent. Very clean and contemporary. Off site parking was convenient.

I travel to Berlin frequently and the Luc hotel is by far my preferred hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, they have working air con. Summers are hot in Berlin, many hotels have panels on the wall but blow warm air all night - it was very refreshing to have a cool room after a hot humid day. But most importantly it’s the staff that make it unique. They truly stand out compared to other hotels. They are warm and welcoming and go out of their way to help you which is not the standard in Berlin. Special mention to Christoph at reception - I received some bad news during my stay and he was so empathetic. In difficult times like that, those moments have a lot of impact and I will forever remember and be grateful for his kindness.

Außergewöhnliche Hotel mit sehr schönem, großen und gut ausgestatteten Zimmer.
Sehr sehr gutes Frühstück. Umsichtiges und sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
