The Microtel in Seneca Falls was excellent! Room was clean and spacious, staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good! Highly recommend it!
Great location and friendly staff
This was avery clean motel/hotel. The staff was also very nice. Would stay again. The room was simple but very comfortable.
The room and bed were very clean. Outside the room, hallways and elevator, a dump. No refrigerators in the rooms. Continental breakfast was a joke. Oatmeal packets put out but no microwave to cook it. Waffle machine there but no materials to make them. Staff were very nice.
The room was dated, carpet stained. Pillows on the bed very wrinkled different colors of white. Very uninviting. At a higher price point, I expected better accommodations. I slept in my clothes.
If it weren't for the desk representative the night before, I would have paid more for dinner! Great friendly people ready with local recommendations. Regarding the room, everything was neat and tidy, and while I wish I had a mini-fridge, it was on me to book or ask. No complaints. The breakfast room was a bit untidy, however. No protein nor fruit selections, though had some basics to fuel me for a run: cereal, bagel, peanut butter, coffee.
Just a one night stay, but staff was very friendly and the room was nice, clean and quiet.
very friendly and helpful staff
Great stay once again. The staff was courteous, responsive and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and upon check-in, our card keys and room were already prepared. Each day, we were greeted with a smile and a generous “hello”. The room was clean and comfortable. Thank you Microtel Inn, Seneca Falls for another wonderful stay.
Motel was booked upon arrival and we were beyond tired from driving all day. Mary at the front desk went out of her way to help us. After a few minutes of her working her magic, we were in a cleaned, stocked and inviting room for the night. I want to send a special thank you to Mary. If only all motels had am associate like Mary. Through all the time that I was around her, she never stopped smiling. Thank you Mary!
GREAT
Mary was a great and friendly receptionist.
The room was very small, but we had everything we needed.
Our only actual complaint was the luggage cart, not a good 1st impression, one wheel was broken and another flat. It was worth 3 trips to the car with luggage, etc, not to have to use it again.
bed bugs
The property was okay for a one night stop. The room is very small. Breakfast was a package of store bought bread in the wrapper and a broken pancake machine.
Parking area was very safe, grounds not kept up, grass a foot high, staff was excellent, room was clean, great service. TV did not work, couldn't get remote to communicate with tv providers (spectrum) equipment, staff even tried.
Check in was confused but the staff worked hard to sort things out.
NEVER book a room here. I stayed at this hotel for maybe 6 hours because the hotel staff gave my room away to someone else while I was staying there. While I was sleeping another guest had a key to my room and would have accessed my room had I not deadbolted the door. I was jolted awake and terrified that someone was trying to get into my room while I was sleeping. The front desk worker (who was also the person who checked me in) knocked on my door and only asked how long *I* had been there and then left, no apologies or anything. Then they called my room and asked for my name, clearly showing that they had no idea who I was or any record of me, even though I made this reservation months in advance. All confidence in this establishment was lost and I had to pay a large amount to stay at another hotel that same night. No one came to check on me or apologize after the incident, and when I left I was understanding that mistakes happen, but when I asked for a full refund, they wouldn't give me a full refund only for the second night. So they will just take your money and do not care about you or your belongings.
We visit Seneca Falls several times a year. We always stay at the Microtel. They always exceed our expectations.
In a 4 person room we only had 2 of each towel & washclothes. We were there for 3 days (Thurs-Sunday). I had to ask for towels and told I had to give them our dirty towels. But then they didn’t have enough washcloths. All I asked for was towels to get us through our stay. I’ve never had such difficulty getting clean towels. Very frustrating when we were in and out a lot and one day I failed to get towels for the next day. Normally there are plenty of towels at hotels where we never need to ask for them. Go to the front desk and they tell me to see the laundry person for towels. I’m the guest running around trying to get towels for our room for the next day and everyone pushing me off to someone else. We were in a double queen with only 2 towels.
I called for service, because my TV was not working right. She asked me what room and I asked my girlfriend what room and she said 146 in the girl hung up on me. The breakfast area had a TV. I asked the girl to put it on she turned it on, but said she needs to get the remote. She came back and said sorry. No TV.
