There were homemade cookies available. Check in went smoothly, short distance to the old downtown Cedar Falls. That's a great restaurants. Very convenient freeway access as well. Friendly staff clean room. Highly recommend

The rooms were ok, the pool area was not cleaned well, an old bag of candy was laying by the hot tub for who knows how long. Black mold caked on the vents in pool area. Breakfast was terrible, no sausage ,no orange juice, cranberry and apple juice was obviously watered down, the milk was expired by a week with chunks on the top. Save yourself, go somewhere else.

Check in was smooth. Our first room had obviously not been cleaned, the bed was unmade, the bathroom had trash in it and used towels on the floor.
We were given a second room, which was clean, but no tv remotes and two burnt outlight bulbs. We were given one tv remote but the bulbs were never replaced. We asked for a discount on our room several times and no manager was ever present and no compensation was given. The breakfast was decent and the property was well kept and conveniently located. Expected better service for the price.

We have stayed here previously and had an excellent stay. This time there was a terrible smell in the room, especially bathroom. Smelled like cat urine. Also the price of the hold for incidentals went up to $100 and we were told it would come off following check out. The charge is still pending over a week later and every time I call the hotel they’ve said they would look into it and call back and have not. I definitely won’t be staying here again. Very disappointed
