Perfect family holiday
Pros:

- lots of things to do. Golf, spa, beach, pools
- lots of choice of restaurants ( pre book )
- everything you need in the apartment - great for kids
- they put a high chair in our apartment
- it’s super kid friendly

Cons:

- the restaurants are expensive for what you get ( 65 euro for an okay buffet)

Die Klippen, die Pinienbäume, die Kultur der Gäste, die Sportmöglichkeiten, es hat sich alles gut verteilt. Die Servicekraft im Costa Kaffee Iryna war spitze, so freundlich, so aufgestellt.
Die grosse Wohnung war top ausgestattet, viel Platz.
Waschmaschine, Tumbler, Geschirrspühler, Aquabar, Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett...einfach alles top.

Cons:

Manchmal mussten wir länger auf den Shuttle warten. Die Klappstühle am Strand waren nicht so bequem, deshalb waren wir jeweils nur kurz am Strand.

A truly lovely stay, with stunning sunsets at the champagne bar that highlighted every evening.
Pros:

Our stay at Pine Cliffs Resort was exceptional from start to finish. The accommodation was beautiful, the service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast, especially the breads and incredible strawberry jam, was a highlight each morning. The peaceful, well-kept surroundings made it easy to fully relax. The champagne bar at sunset is an absolute must and the perfect way to end the day. There are quite a few great restaurants close by, and transport via taxi or using a ridesharing services are very well priced.

Cons:

The Culligan filtered water machine was not working initially, but once we reported it, it was replaced within minutes, which we appreciated. The laundry dryer also did not function, though we discovered this late and did not have the opportunity to report it. A quick check of in-room equipment to ensure everything is in working order would further enhance the experience. These were minor issues and did not take away from an otherwise excellent stay.

On the service level, very disappointing

Good location and a nice New Year’s celebration in the garden

Cons:

Our stay had 3 major red flags. Kids Club was very weak and poorly managed. We were initially told it was fully booked because reservations had to be made before 4 p.m. the day before, exactly the hotel’s check-in time. After complaining, our kids were accepted, but the activities were very basic and disappointing for a 5-star hotel.

Breakfast was chaotic, with a huge queue due to lack of capacity. We were a group of 8, including a baby. After being seated by one hostess, another came and asked me to leave the table, being very rude, even though we had arrived first.

On checkout day (1 January), we were called at 10:30 a.m. to hurry up, which was completely unrealistic given the breakfast chaos. At 11:00 a.m., our key was blocked and we were locked out of the room, waiting in the cold with our children until staff opened the door so we could collect our belongings.

This is not the level of service expected from a 5-star hotel. We will never stay here again.

Location is beautiful. Other than shuttle service first day, staff everywhere extremely nice and helpful. Kids club attendants were very nice and professional and good with my kids. Had a great massage therapist at the spa.

Cons:

Things need updating. Pullout bed in the apartment was barely functioning and needs to be replaced - my kids were able to sleep there but it’s basically broken and no way an adult could sit there. In the spa the hot tub was broken (no bubbles) and one of the two showers near sauna wasn’t working. Kids club pirate ship isn’t used by kids club due to repairs so my kids were indoors for the majority of kids club but the kids club was one of the main reasons I picked this property so that was disappointing. They have so many outdoor pools, I was surprised none of them are heated. Seems like a waste as it is warm enough outside to swim if the water was heated which leaves everyone having to go to the indoor pool in the gym which really isn’t meant for families.
