Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway - Adults Only

We visited Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel for the latter half of January 2026 for the 12th time!
We first went in January 2014, booked it via an Air Canada vacation, and had minimal expectations.
Fast forward . . . and except for the covid January of 2021 we’ve returned every January since.

The hotel itself is charming, all rooms with spectacular ocean views, and some staff have been there since we first went, but regardless we are treated as “family” by all.
It is small-ish, with ~70 rooms, so ~150 adults (no children) at capacity. We always pass on the All Inclusive option, since we’re not really daytime drinkers (with lots of exceptions),
and Puerto Vallarta has *so* many fabulous restaurants of all price ranges and types. We *do* have their fabulous breakfast every day, as well as delicious snacks from their
Pool and Lunch Menus throughout the afternoon on the beach. That having been said, my sister who also goes each year, as well as others who are on the All Inclusive plan,
rave about the dinners and all-day drinks and wine service.

The staff are uniformly wonderful: Some shout outs. . . at the Front Door (Lisandro . . .), Front Desk (Lorena, Dario . . ), Pool (Paul, Enrique, Jorge, Victor, Javier, Alejandro . . . ), Breakfast (Edgar, Noel, Erick . . .), Guest Relations (Tammy . ), Room Staff, Turn-down service in the evening. Apologies to any not explicitly mentioned.

The ocean front facilities around the pools and on the beach are super comfortable. There is some beach vendor activity, but given the Hotel’s specific location, it is low key and unobtrusive.
Lots of people swim in the ocean, but the reality is that it is never super calm, so it can definitely be a bit iffy for unconfident swimmers.

The location is quite central, a short stroll to the Malecon, and a longer stroll or short cab/uber to the Zona Romantica. So restaurants, music, cabarets, art galleries, piano bars, clubs are all
extremely accessible – with no safety concerns that we’ve concerned in all the years we’ve gone.

This is definitely our winter home away from home and we’re already booked for January 2027. 😊 Highly recommended.

Fabulous resort, awesome staff, friendly and helpful. Excellent food and great atmosphere, whales swimming along the shore at breakfast. Shout out to Roberto Cortes concierge so accommodating and helpful.

Beautiful hotel with awesome beach front and ocean views! You can see the whales from your balcony!! Javier de La O provided excellent dining experiences. While Paul Rodriguez meet all our needs around the pool. The rest of the staff were attentive, caring and beyond accommodating. Room was clean and attended to daily. Massages were phenomenal, thanks Veronica and her co-staff. Affordable as well. Downtown Malecon had our hearts with it's acceptance for all and the politeness of its locals blew us away! Puerto Vallarta I will see you again soon!

What a disappointment: A two-star hotel masquerading as a four-star operation. The 'economy' rooms (that run about $ 600/night currently) are tiny, have awkward tub/showers, with a sink and counter area big enough to fit 2 toothbrushes (no storage space). The pools are nice to look at, but you only get to see them from your windows, because all the guests run out around 6 am and place books & items to save the deck chairs. All are taken by 7 am. And people are verocious about "owning" them. The food at breakfast is cold, awful, and the service is slow. The drinks at the swim-up bar are truly awful--my husband ordered a Negroni that he said tasted exactly like Hawaiian Punch. My margarita was oddly tasteless. The water situation is deplorable: if you drink the water from the faucet, you lose. The housekeeping staff (which is, in my opinion, 5 star worthy), will bring you 2 small bottles of water daily, with a $ 3 US dollar charge each. Coffee pods are similarly charged. The whole operation is cheesy, unrewarding, and not befitting the nice hotel this used to be 10-12 years ago. The view - which you can get from the free public beaches is indeed gorgeous.

Don't get an upgrade to a suite. You then actually have less ocean view. Can't see it from your bed.

Rooms don't have a ceiling fan which would be nice.

Perfect location, you walk out the front door and you are in town, steps from shops and restaurants, and only a few blocks from the Malecón. This was our second visit in two years and will be back next year, which is a huge compliment because we never return to the same resort, typically looking for a different experience. The rooms, facility, pools, location are all excellent. The breakfast and lunch restaurant is open air, right on the water, and the variety of food is top notch. The service everywhere in the resort is fabulous.

We absolutely loved our time at Villa Premiere! The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Service was great at all of the restaurants and at the pool bar.
Shout out to Paul the pool attendant!! He made sure we had everything we needed from towels to shade! He, along with everyone else, was AMAZING!! We can’t wait for our next trip!!!

Had an awesome time during our week here. Every person in the staff was friendly and helpful. Best service we have ever had anywhere we have been. Paul and Jorge at the pool took such good care of us we hated to leave.

We just returned from a week-long all-inclusive stay at Hotel Villa Premiere in Puerto Vallarta, and it was nothing short of exceptional. This resort is truly made for couples seeking a relaxing, romantic getaway, and it delivered on every level.
From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. A special shout-out goes to Paul on the pool deck, who absolutely set the tone for our days—always ensuring we had perfectly placed chairs and fresh towels, with a friendly smile and effortless professionalism. It made lounging by the pool feel seamless and stress-free.
The food and dining experience were outstanding. Both signature restaurants, La Perla and La Corona, were excellent, offering beautifully prepared dishes and a wonderful atmosphere. The themed dinner nights—Italian, Mexican, and Spanish—were true highlights of our stay, each one thoughtfully curated and delicious. Breakfast and lunch at La Corba never disappointed, with great variety and consistently high quality. Edgar and Noel provided the most polite, professional, and attentive service there; their care truly elevated every meal.
Evenings were especially memorable thanks to Cristian and his fantastic team, Diana and Armando, who made every dinner feel special and unhurried, with impeccable service and genuine warmth.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a long stay, offering a peaceful retreat after full days of sun and great food. The overall ambiance of the resort strikes the perfect balance between elegance and relaxation.
We would highly recommend Hotel Villa Premiere to any couple looking for a romantic, adults-only escape with exceptional service, fantastic dining, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. We’re already talking about when we can return.

Villa Premiere is a special place! We spent 2 weeks here and the staff are amazing! Paul took good care of us around the pool along with Victor & Jorge. We did all-inclusive & enjoyed all our meals and the special nights. Edgar, Noel, Armando & Hugo and Cesar all made our dining experiences memorable. Front desk staff were accommodating —thank you Dario. We just can’t name everybody. Staff is great! There was live entertainment, beachside yoga & a gym. We will be back.

Great stay, staff was attentive without being overzealous. Paul took good care of us at the pool, and lots of other folks who I am sorry I can't name individually took good care as well.

Fabulous location close to the PV Malecon. Small, intimate, adults only hotel with wonderful staff and service. On the beach with wonderful sunsets. Resort restaurants are good and plenty of other great dining within walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfortable with great views of the ocean. The perfect hotel for a relaxing vacation and experiencing Puerto Vallarta.

Lovely resort - quiet, and excellent service. All inclusive plan includes the use of restaurants and services at the adjacent Bonaventura. Special thanks to Paul at the pool, and Mariel at the front desk. Evening entertainment was top notch and not invasive. We would definitely come here again

Spectacular sunsets. 3 onsite restaurants all serving good to very good fare. Staff very attentive and helpful, especially Paul and Jorge. Spa services very good and decent pricing for resort.

Paul was the best around the pool and for good entertainment and service. Hotel is very laid back with no screaming children and is very accommodating.

Our stay was fantastic! We came for an early birthday getaway and wanted to try one of the resorts for our first time in PV. From arrival to checking out, the service from the staff was extremely accommodating and every person went above and beyond. Paul was especially helpful and kind. Going out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. He is the man! Julio was gracious for any needs with our reservation. We are so thankful to have stayed here and had a great time enjoying the amenities and the proximity to the ocean and the city. Very walkable to many restaurants and bars. We would come back in a heartbeat and we were sad to leave. Until next time, thanks again!

A super great hotel, walking distance to downtown and wide variety of restaurants. We've traveled extensively all around the world and stayed at some really fine hotels, rated high by Conde Nast, none were better than Vilka Premier. The beach front location, all adult 4 star accommodations were exceptional
But the staff from bellman to housekeeping and everyone in-between are what put this hotel over the top.

We'll be back next year!
