Decent place to stay in KL
Pros:

The location (although it is close to bars and prostitution area), the value for money, the overall standard

Cons:

It seems like it is a bit old hotel so isolation is not really good (adjacent rooms, lifts), floor is carpet, etc

Pros:

Everything worked well. Good bed, good shower, good view, good facilities overall and excellent breakfast. Also excellent location near monorail and Jalan Alor night food market. Fabulous food.

Cons:

Could not turn the aircon off or down. It was at times too cold, and although there was a setting to turn off the air con when you wished, it had no effect. Also loud Karaoke from the street until one am in the morning, despite being on the 14th. floor! Pity about this, as it is a great hotel and we have stayed here many times over the last 20 years. Maybe another room away from the karaoke would solve that problem and the air con? Could be fixed?
