Too small room, too small bed, just queen size and too tight for two adults, just a regular sofa in the room, but not a sofa-bed, facilities in next door hotel

Great value, very clean, great location and VERY helpful and friendly staff. Kitchen was small and the sleeping area was a loft upstairs. Not a problem unless you are planning to do a lot of cooking.

On arrival, I was told that the room I had booked was no longer available, even though I had already paid for it. I was told I would receive a $50 refund because of this, but I still haven’t received it.

I also have not received my deposit back from the hotel, which is very frustrating.

In addition, the room itself was not up to standard. The pillows on the bed were very uncomfortable, the shower was clogging up, and there was someone’s pubic hair left in the shower when I arrived, which was quite unpleasant.

Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I would appreciate the refund and deposit being returned as soon as possible.

Terrible experience and no response from management when we sent a note advising of the situation.
Pros:

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and fell far below the standard we expected, particularly given the price of the room.

When we arrived, the room was in a very poor and frankly unacceptable condition. It appeared unclean and poorly maintained, which immediately set the tone for what was meant to be a relaxing stay in Whistler. Given the rate we paid, the condition of the room was simply not commensurate with the level of accommodation that should reasonably be expected.

To make matters worse, the unit next to ours was blasting loud music late into the evening. The disturbance continued for quite some time before we ultimately had to escalate the issue because it made it impossible to relax or sleep comfortably.

Overall, the combination of the room’s condition and the disturbance from the neighboring unit made this one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We chose the property expecting a certain level of quality and hospitality, and unfortunately that expectation was not met. To make matters even worse on our way out of the parkade, we witnessed the staff loading bedding into an unlit closet in the parkade. The shelving was made of 2x4’s and plywood and most certainly is not a place that bedding should be kept that patrons rest their heads on at night.

A good spot
Pros:

The staff were good at keeping the residents informed and stayed ready to help in any way they could. Everything worked in the room, and it smelled really clean. Morning coffee is always a positive. Beds were easy to sleep in. It was almost too quiet during my stay.

Cons:

Almost fell in the shower due to the lack of adhesive stickers. There was no menu for the television (at least none that I knew of). Everything else was pretty good.
