Staff and room
The experience was "adequate" but the breakfast arrangements were poor - cereals were in short supply and the food was served on hot plates but was luke warm - the dread fro toast was old and there were no conserves like marmalade or jam. The tea was self service with a tea bag in a small cup with water that was not warm enough
Location to Otley and Wharfedale!
The external parts look rather tatty and need some general maintenance works to modern standards.
Reception was very friendly Mckenie could not be more helpful was offered 2 rooms and we could choice.Spa was nice Vitold was so helpful and very accommodating.
TV only had 2 channels bed was very soft and not very comfy

I’ve stayed here many times and noticed some improvements in the last couple of years, but unfortunately standards seemed to have dropped dramatically this time.
I stayed in Cabin 53 which was very dirty and smelt musty. The restaurant had a very sticky floor, breakfast choices seem to have reduced and didn’t look appetising and the alarm going off several times during breakfast was the final nail in the coffin.
Regular and thorough cleaning, and continued refurbishment of the log cabins would make a world of difference to this lovely place

The hotel is looking a bit tired and is ready for a refurb.
Bread at breakfast was a bit dry. Eggs on toast a bit bland and flavourless.
Room card failed about 3 times and had to be reprogrammed.
Location and atmosphere of the property, reminds me of places visited as a kid, nice and cool in our lodge. Dinner was really good, nice choice of locations to eat. Fridge in room.
Some of the outside furniture was past its best, no chairs outside our lodge. Spa availability was very restricted to non members.
The location is very good . The view is excellent 👌 love the food. Staff are very friendly
The cleaning . Our room bathroom was not very clean and the spa facility was not clean at all .
We really enjoyed the spa, especially the hot tub and Patrick was super helpful and friendly. The location is very peaceful and the bed was very comfortable.
