The layout
The food in the restaurant was not great
The property was lovely and peaceful, could have done with a lick of paint and there were a couple of cigarette stubs on outside seating area but that might have been because of the wind. But was so comfortable and cosy, so great to unwind after a hectic few days - dogs loved it in the lodge! Restaurant was fantastic and staff so helpful, really good breakfast range and young man serving us was exceptionally helpful and attentive- thank you!
Nothing
Very serene, beautifully situated

I booked it for my son , he didn’t really get a chance to enjoy It . They arrived very late , following a late flight .
The room was very tatty ( rust all over the bathroom , where paint had peeled off & it hadn’t been re-touched .
The cot we had asked for was just a base - no mattress , so our toddler was very unsettled even though she was tired .
The food was very good - both the evening meal and breakfast.
The grounds and location were lovely.
The pool and spa had everything we needed.
Many of the showers did not work in the spa area.
The toilet in the room bathroom needed de-scaling.
The pillows were very hard.
We were on a late sitting for breakfast, and many buffet items and drinks had run out.
lovely looking lodge with excellent parking, enjoyed the spa
room a bit cramped with the wardrobe area in the corridor between bathroom and bedroom . room got hot quickly although it was a really warm evening and night . TV was interrupted by distortion of signal regularly

Location
Extremely dated and tired accommodation.
Sleeps 6. 2 bathrooms but only 1 shower.
Hot tub old and bit grim.
Attended the venue for a wedding and stayed the night to not have to mess around with taxis home. Location of venue is fantastic and the food and drinks were good.
Outside the restaurant overlooking the lake definately needs a lick of paint and 90% of the chairs in this area are on there last legs and in need of replacement. Also the toilets in this area also definately need a refurb.
The bathroom in our cabin was dated with a crack across the basin.
Amazing
