Habitación amplia, la cama muy cómoda , la limpieza buena. Desayuna magnífico. Personal agradable y atento.

Cons:

Hotel por debajo de las expectativas en comparación con otros Barceló.Uno de los aspectos que más me sorprendió es que el baño carece de escobilla, si vas con alguien de total confianza puede no ser un problema , pero cuando compartes con una persona que no tienes relación o incluso por motivos de trabajo , puede no ser agradable. La cena tenía buena calidad pero muy muy poca variedad. La piscina con sensación algo anticuada y se echa en falta música ambiental .Por la noche al acabar de cenar , no había animación ,ni música en directo . Son detalles que otros hoteles de la cadena sí cuidan. En general experiencia correcta, pero lejos del nivel esperado.

Fantastic but a bit off the beaten track
Pros:

- The hotel is absolutely stunning: wonderful views and picturesque buildings.
- The rooms were spacious, well-equipped and comfortable.
- The rooms had a kitchenette and full fridge, so you could prepare lunch, etc. yourself.
- The pool bar food was tasty and affordable.
- Staff were friendly and helpful.
- There is a small bus outside - the C2 bus - that will bring you to local shops, etc. as well as the Alicante Tram to visit other areas.

Cons:

- This is perhaps our fault for not researching better, but it was well off the beaten track: there was only one shop and two restaurants within walking distance, and the nearest beach was 2km away - and was full of seaweed. You really need a car for this location, or rely heavily on the C2 bus route to bring you places.
- While this wasn't an issue for us, the resort is built on a steep slope. This means it is not very suitable if any member of your party has mobility or accessibility needs.

Little oasis
Pros:

Location feels like a private little village with beautiful little houses, restaurants and a pool on site with plenty of sunbeds. The apartment I booked had a balcony which was great. Air conditioning in the rooms, very comfy bed.
Great choice at breakfast.

Cons:

I didn't see the note straight away that informed about how to get crockery & cutlery. Would have been better to tell me about it on check-in at reception and to ask me what I need. I noticed the info too late. It was placed under the 2 complimentary water bottles I didn't touch until I had been to the shop to buy a mug and some plastic cutlery. There's a beach 20min down the road but it was being refurbished and I'm guessing prepared for the peak season.
So nearest beach is at least 30min to walk downhill. No DND sign to inform housekeeping to not service the room so had to make a sign myself.
