Pros:

Location was great and the staff very friendly. The hotel room as cleaned each morning with fresh towels provided. The breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice.

Cons:

I would not stay again until the hotel is renovated. Broken tiles in elevator and 70s styled rooms. The pool is unheated and the restaurant and bar prices are extortionate. The hotel is catered for golf parties rather than families or solo travellers. And constantly offered drugs between the hotel and walk to the marina, 14 times in 3 days. Wider problem for Vilamoura rather than the hotel. Really ruined the holiday.

Fabulous weekend, lovely get away, will do it again.
Pros:

Location is exceptional! It's worth paying for a sea facing room and one on a higher floor. We chose the one bed apartment and the size and space is fabulous. Cute little 'bar' in the corner next to the kitchenette would be a great feature if you were staying longer term, in fact we would consider staying for a month or so when we retire. Breakfast is excellent by the way!

Cons:

The hot water pressure is a little low, could be stronger and hotter. It takes a long time for any warm water to reach the sinks - kitchen and bathroom basin - and the shower was weak. I would prefer a conditioner to be provided alongside the shampoo/shower gel, just so that I don't have to bring my own but that's a very minor nit.
