Decent place to stay at Waterton. It's a little bit pricey, but not many options in town.
Cons:

I didn't like the cleanlines. There were some roaches in the kitchen.
The place is old. They started the renovation. Hopefully it will be better by then.
There was no Gym available. I guess because of the renovation.s

We would go again
Pros:

Air Conditioning worked well on HOT HOT HOT summer days and the closeness of the hotel to everything in tow you could walk to.

Cons:

My bed was so close to the wall I could hardly get out on my side to go to the bathroom. There was room to move it toward the window but not with the lighting and miniature stand that weren't moveable.

Average Experience at Waterton Lake Lodge
Pros:

This lodge was in a central location of the town and near the lake and roads to view wildlife and scenery in Waterton National Peace Park. Within walking distance to restaurants. The hotel cleanliness was very good but the entrance and parking lot were only mediocre. The restaurant on premises was also only average.

Great location with comfortable rooms.
Pros:

Great location - center of town. My upstairs room was very comfortable.

Cons:

It took a while to get someone at reception. Once they arrived, quick and easy check in with very accommodating staff. The outside of the “cabins” need some refreshing, but my room was fantastic.
