Good price and comfortable stay.
Cons:

Breakfast. However, my friends were fine with it. I know that cereal is expensive, but the substitute for frosted flakes and fruit loops was sad. No individual yogurt and no bananas.

Good overall for cost and great staff
Pros:

Nice staff, clean rooms, updated look

Cons:

Outside of the rooms the property is very run down and poorly managed. Dog grass area infested with ants and giant ant hills, no poop bags in poop bag holder stands, no remote in gym or cleaning wipes in the gym either.

It was just ok. The price was right on.
Pros:

The rooms were very clean

Cons:

The beds were warn out. Not comfortable at all. I felt that the front desk people could have been a little more friendly. They were to business like.

Remodeled rooms look great, very spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the breakfast.
Pros:

We loved the pool... it was clean, always had towels, it was never very crowded. The view from our room to the lake was beautiful. The Air conditioning worked wonderfully. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast was mediocre - Not many options, not maintained frequently enough, many items ran out and were not replaced, very very basic and blah. The parking lot is quite small and was sometimes blocked by large trucks taking up several parking spots.

Extremely expensive for basic facilities.

Cons:

First entering the hotel the lobby stunk of heavy incense or perfume that gagged you. It was so strong you could taste it in the air. Upon entering the room there was water puddle on the floor. Mattress were extremely hard & very uncomfortable. Making rest impossible. Hips, back & shoulders hurt every morning after sleeping in the bed. Making it a terrible start of the day. Halls were always dirty & needed vacuuming. Our bath tub didn't drain well. And tub had soap scum that needed cleaning. Tiles in bathroom floor were uneven, leading to trips & scrapes on tile. A/C was extremely loud & fan rattled & made an ungodly noise making sleep very difficult. Hated that only ice machine was on ground floor making it difficult to use when mobility is an issue. Elevator sounded like it was going to crash at anytime & the shaking & grinding of the Elevator sounded horrible. More than two people in the Elevator made the noise worse. Wanted to use the laundry facility but when we went to do laundry the washing machine was extremely filthy & gross & I didn't want to use it. Plus had weird mildew smell. Can't imagine how we would have gotten clean clothes from filthy machines. And one dryer was broken. Had to leave the site to find a laundromat in town.

Bad service
Pros:

Indian lady at the front desk is super rude.
I didn’t realized my stayed was over and she went to the room making a big deal and yelling to grab my stuff that she was going to charge me.
I didn’t had an issue paying because i needed the extra night but the way she handle everything was super rude.
Will definitely never stay at a la quinta location.

I would definantly stay there again and would recomend to others.
Pros:

Room was really nice and clean. Excellent view of the Lake. Got lucky and watched a awesome fireworks show from the room.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind.
