La camera in cui ci hanno inizialmente accolto puzzava di fritto veramente insostenibile. Dopodiché, dopo esserci lamentati ci hanno cambiato camera ed era un po’ meglio effettivamente. Le camere sono senza aria condizionata entrambe quindi bisogna essere fortunati di mandare in un periodo che c’è caldo che per un quattro selle oggi è assurdo non avere l’aria condizionata la moquettes in corridoio aveva delle macchie di sporcizia. Insomma, per un quattro stelle ci aspettavamo molto molto di più, non sicuramente a livello delle stelle che ha.

Overheated Rooms and Underwhelming Service
Pros:

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The room temperature was comparable to a sauna, and the small, underpowered fan provided did nothing to reduce the excessive heat.

When we requested an additional fan at reception, we were assured one would be brought to our room. After 30 minutes, nothing arrived. When we returned to reception, the same staff member informed us that no additional fans were available — with no effort made to update us in the meantime.
We then asked to speak to the manager. Unfortunately, he offered no meaningful solution and appeared completely disengaged. I suggested using a fan from a vacant room, only to be told the hotel was fully booked. A quick check online showed rooms were still available to book for that evening, which was frustrating and misleading.

Breakfast was mediocre. Staff struggled to keep the buffet stocked, with basic items like bread running out, and yoghurts unavailable on one of the mornings when we arrived for breakfast.

Overall, it’s safe to say we won’t be returning. There are other local hotels that value their customers and provide far better service for the same price.

Super !!
Pros:

The hotel itself is large and absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. We had a spacious, large room with everything you could need, including an iron. It was clean, comfortable and very relaxing.
We also enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna, which was a great way to unwind. The only downside is that taking photos or videos in the pool area is not allowed. When I recorded something, a member of staff immediately came over and asked me to delete it. I understand this rule is in place to protect other guests’ privacy, but I think taking a photo or video of yourself with your partner should be a little different.
Another small downside is that there is no fridge in the room, which would have been very useful.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and I would definitely come back again! ❤️

Convoluted self check in and hot rooms

If you are looking for a calm place to stay, don't come here.
We arrived around 10pm to very loud noise coming from the sports bar. It was incredibly distracting when I was suddenly expected to do self check in. The machine asked a series of questions so fast that I missed the part when our room number was displayed. We finally got someone for help with the room number. Once in the room, I read something that said parking is chargeable but this was not mentioned in any of the many questions asked by the self check in terminal. A trek back down to reception to confirm.

We arrived when it was around 18c outside but the room was considerably warmer. The windows opened an inch, frankly pointless. The fan was immediately switched on and I was met with an explosion of dust! So my first task in the room was to clean the fan!
The wifi kept cutting off every 10min or so.

This hotel has challenged everything I expected in a hotel. I expected this from an Airbnb, not a hotel.

Don't visit during a heat wave, no air con and stifling hot in the rooms. Only 1 towel between 2 people and given 2 small hand towels as a replacement. Breakfast is poor

Highly expensive for what it was

No breakfast available when we went down at 9.45, told the manager had gone to the shop to buy more food. Breakfast replenished at 10.30, sat there for 45 minutes waiting then had to rush to eat as checkout was 11?
