I believe Marriott Downtown Buenos Aires was the finest properties in downtown BA! With most rooms having a breathtaking view of the oblisc & the republic square, opposite the finest tango theater! The views and the location of the hotel is probably the best in the very lively capital city!!! Patricio Emanuel Cristiano, the guest relation manager and all his team at the reception/ front desk were very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel you are special! I

Difficult to sign into apps on tv
The Marriott is located near many iconic places. It is possible to walk to Teatro Colón, La Ideal, Galerias Pacifico and La Estancia Restaurant. From the rooftop you can take photos of the Obelisk and the sunsets are spectacular. The pool and gym are also there! The pool is the best I have ever seen in my travels. Finally what made the hotel a good choice was the people. All friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Staff was nice and helpful. The bar area was a nice waiting and meeting area.
The older tower is very loud. It sounded like people were inside our room when they were just in the hall. I felt like I had the door open with how loud it was. We could hear every person walking down the hall a fully hear their conversations. Maybe this tower is next for the upgrade. But the noise is the only fault in that side of the hotel.

The location is great, but the service is disappointing. There were no hand towels in the bathroom, the bed squeaks, and the room has a stale smell.
