Beau séjour au Union club de BC
Pros:

Bel emplacement , belle bâtisse et bon petit déjeuner avec un serveur très attentionné qui nous a donné des conseils pour visiter l’île .

Cons:

Le bar qui était fermé à cause du jour de la reine . Mon mari voulait vraiment goûter à cette expérience.

Great location, comfortable room, don’t wear jeans!
Pros:

The location was excellent. Right on the harbor and a block from Government St and lots of local shopping and eating options. The room was comfortable with original art on the walls from the 100+ year history of the club.

Cons:

I don’t think there is an accessible entrance so lugging a 20 kilo suitcase up the stairs to the front door could be a limitation for some. Also, it is a working members club with a dress code and rules which make it a bit uncomfortable to make use of the facilities if one is not prepared.

Pros:

Ubicación y el personal de recepción

Cons:

Precio, instalaciones que no se parecen a las fotos, las instrucciones del código de vestimenta no se siguen al pie de la letra, miembros del club despectivos, calor excesivo en las habitaciones, electrodomésticos viejos, camas viejas, no lo vale por el precio.

Very fancy, but strangely strict. Not worth the price but nice staff
Pros:

It was in a good location, close to downtown with a beautiful view of the parliament building.

Cons:

They lock the doors after 11, and you have to call a phone number to have them open them even with your keys and fob. Unfortunate if you are visiting out of country and your phone service doesn’t work. Also, no free breakfast, which we didn’t expect. You have to pay and it’s a la carte. Strict dress code if you want to use any of the common areas

Pros:

The reading room in the morning was so great. 20 foot ceiling and really peaceful.

Eating at the club restaurant is also affordable and so was alcohol with dinner.

A relaxing stay in a great hotel in the perfect location
Pros:

Welcoming staff and early entry was made available for our room. Beautiful view of the harbour from our room. Breakfast was huge and good value. The reading room is large and relaxing. Just a perfect stay.

Of particular note, the staff was extremely helpful when we unexpectedly had a family emergency. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to all of my friends.
