La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Bend

It was not clean. Literally food on the walls situation. I also requested during my reservation to have a roll away bed and they put me in a room that couldn’t have one due to fire egress hazards. They were not willing to switch rooms to accommodate. Ended up letting me have the bed anyways but I felt the issue should have been discussed ahead of time and not been a hassle at check in.

Room in downstairs felt like dungeon. Tiny room photos deceiving.

It was just what I needed while traveling and for the price it was fine. But I was on the floor level with a window opening right up to the parking lot and heard a lot of street noise, some arguing and did not feel safe as a solo female traveler.

What I didn't like were the bed sheets had markings on them. It looked to be dark blemishes of some kind. Also the bathroom could've used a wall railing to help get up from the toilet since the toilet sits so low.

The hot tub was closed. I wanted a hot tub. The shower was interesting

Rude front desk staff no proper support staff to help with the room issues, we had a bad experience with front desk staff and if you ask more questions. It doesn’t go well with staff and we ended having an awful experience I wish we never to step in again. Be prepared to get into issue if you ask question such as , are there any elevators n you were expecting one , power switches or plugs not working inside room at coffee dispenser . The supervisor mentioned she didn’t want to deal with such issues when we tried to escalate our ordeal

If the booking were says you will have a living room n a bed room it’s a lie it’s just two queen bed room n nothing else

Bed was over used and I tried to sleep in the middle but kept falling into big dip

The property is not up kept well at all. 1st room we were given the fridge did not work. Moved to another room and the TV didn’t work. Staff tried to fix it got it to work but then the volume would not go up so you could barely hear it, then it stopped working completely again. Informed the staff again but nothing was done. Then the icing on the cake… come to find when I woke up and was going to make the bed I noticed I slept on sheets that had small dried blood spots that were not from me. I called staff again and they came up and seen the sheets and tried to say it looked fresh! I told her to put her phone light on it and you can tell it definitely is not fresh blood. I am a nurse and know the difference from fresh blood and old blood. Then she was oh yeah your right and then just offered to send housekeeping in to change the bedding. I will never stay at any Travelodge hotels again. Mined you this was the 1st time staying at a travelodge hotel too.

The pool and hot tub were not working and had no water. The room had a refrigerator that did not work and the AC unit on the wall did not work. It seemed like the maintenance on the hotel was not a priority. The staff informed us that the owners do not take care of the property. We asked for a discount for all of the problems that we were having with our stay or a refund of some sort because of the conditions of the hotel they gave us a 20 percent coupon for a next day at one of their hotels. To say the least, the picture of the pool is very deceiving and the property is not taking care of is not worth the money. The staff was OK, but they were used to people complaining about problems. We were not the only people staying there that had the same issues we will not be staying here ever again they said the reason why they could not refund us back our money was because we booked it on Booking.com and that they they don't get paid. They just get a portion of the money so they couldn't reimburse us back our money.

Advertised a pool and the pool had been closed down since January.
