Ideal für einen Zwischenaufenthalt
Pros:

Wir sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen worden, die Lage ist perfekt, da sehr nahe am Bahnhof. Das Zimmer war komfortabel, die Betten bequem und es war sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet!

Cons:

Wir haben bei geöffnetem Fenster geschlafen, das Zimmer war straßenseitig und sehr laut.

A misleading listing that delivered a poor old apartment instead of a hotel—avoid at all costs.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this property, and I feel obligated to warn other travelers.

The hotel listing on Booking.com showed photos of a proper entrance and reception area, creating the impression of a standard hotel stay. However, upon arrival at the given address, I was informed at the reception that the unit I had booked was not actually located in the hotel building.

Instead, I was directed to a very old apartment on the 4th floor, with an extremely small elevator that could barely fit even a single suitcase. This was already very misleading compared to what was advertised.

When I entered the apartment, the situation became even worse. The room was extremely small, with two very narrow beds of poor quality, leaving almost no space for anything else, and sleeping on these beds was truly difficult and uncomfortable due to their very limited width. The sleeping area was separated from the living space by a sliding glass door. In the living area, there was an old, worn-out sofa intended for a third guest.

Additionally, when I checked for extra bedding, I found an old, heavily worn blanket in the closet that looked more like a floor mat than something suitable for guests.

After more than 15 years of using Booking.com, I can confidently say this was the worst accommodation I have ever experienced. The listing was clearly misleading, and the quality of the property was far below any acceptable standard.

I deeply regret this choice and strongly advise other travelers to be cautious before booking this property.

Für einen Kurzurlaub in Triest sehr gut geeignet
Pros:

In idealer Entfernung zum Hauptbahnhof und zur Buslinie 6 nach Miramar. Die Zimmer sind zwar per Lift erreichbar, aber man muss einen Halbstock hinauf oder hinunter gehen. Das Frühstück im Dachgeschoß ist gut.

Cons:

Die Lage an einer sehr frequentierten Straße macht ein Offenlassen der Fenster unmöglich. Im Zimmer war ein unangenehmer Geruch, sodass man trotzdem lüften musste.

Gut gelegenes Hotelzimmer, katastrophales Personal

Zimmer und Bett in Ordnung.

Cons:

Wir wollten um 15:30 ins Zimmer einchecken und haben auch die Zimmerkarte erhalten. Das Zimmer befand sich auf der anderen Straßenseite in einem Wohnhaus. Als wir am Zimmer ankamen war es noch nicht mal ansatzweise fertig geputzt, obwohl der Check In um 14:00 sein sollte. Auf Nachfrage sollte es angeblich noch 10min dauern und wir sollten im Zimmer nebenan warten. In der Zwischenzeit haben wir die Rezeption kontaktiert und wollten wissen wieso wir kein fertiges Zimmer bekommen haben, wir glauben nicht dass das Hotel ausgebucht war. Als Antwort kam schnippisch vom Rezeptionisten „Thats the real life and you gotta accept it“. Unsrer Meinung nach wurde das Ganze durch schlechtes Zeitmanagement verschuldet. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist stark ausbaufähig. Die Dusche ebenfalls.
