Pros:

The room was awesome and modern.

Cons:

They wouldn't let me rebook because I had my cat though I informed them of him when I booked the room on Booking.com.

Attracting the wrong clients

Modern updated room, generally really clean.

Cons:

Walls where like paper, room next door playing ridiculously loud music, spoke to reception about moving rooms was told none available however they would talk to them. 3 knocking attempts later and they answered turned music down slightly but noise was replaced by theatrical sex noises. This continued on and off all evening until very late. Then started again come 6:30am. I got the feeling it was some kind of escort service using the hotel.

We also noticed a very pungent sweat/body odour smell in the room. It was coming from one of the cushions on the sofa. We ended up having to put it in the bathroom.

The car park is virtually impossible to park due to a rental company parking and obstructing all the spots.

Pros:

No breakfast available as they were undergoing renovations. The BEST part of our stay was that we didn't HAVE to stay. A bonus was that at least we didn't get mugged.

Cons:

A dead roach met us on the floor as we entered the room. There was at least one hair in the bathtub (this tells me a LOT about the cleanliness of any facility). When I went to the front desk to advise that we could NOT stay here, and why, I was assured I would not be charged. Now, I have the charge on my credit card, the calls to the facility don't go through, and the calls to corporate go unanswered. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

My stay was poor
Pros:

I was not provided breakfast as advertised

Cons:

I was under the impression that breakfast was provided. I had trouble with the lock on my door. When I spoke to the staff about not being informed on the website, that the hotel was under construction, she gave me a tour but no accommodation for the false advertisement and the loudness due to the construction

Pros:

Very polite staff, lady who checked me out was a pleasure to talk to, very funny and engaged.

Room was a decent size for the two of us and exceptionally clean when we arrived. Construction work was ongoing to renovate other rooms but workers were very considerate and worked at reasonable hours with zero noise pollution affecting the stay.

Room had a convenient fridge for storing drinks and plenty of surfaces space for meals. Bathroom facilities had a good range of temperature and consistent supply of hot water.

Cons:

Only putting this here to fill the box. Still a 10/10.

Was unsure of onsite facilities for washing towels and bedding, wasnt explained when we arrived. In fairness we also didn't ask.
