InterContinental Suites Hotel Cleveland by IHG

Stay was pleasant, however, the tub needs a block to prevent the water from coming out onto the floor. Almost had a fall due to unseen water in the doorway. Also, the thermostat could not be adjusted, it got to hot or too cold.

This was the perfect place for us to stay as one member of the family under went surgery at Cleveland Clinic and family was able to come and go to this nearby location. Once released from the hospital the suite allowed for our patient to have some privacy and sleep time for recovery while family could gather in the next room. Having a small fridge and microwave allowed for some smaller food items - but the hotel room service and food was excellent! It more than exceeded our expectations.

Very clean, quiet hotel with friendly, helpful staff and very convenient to Cleveland Clinic. The only down side is that if you don't pay for the valet parking, the nearest parking garage is two blocks away.

Great customer service and very clean hotel

We always have a nice stay at the Intercontinental. It is pristine clean, the rooms and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are professional.

Front desk and concierge are most efficient and helpful. Very good coffee and hot chocolate in Lobby were most appreciated. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bed is very comfortable. Quiet.
Dining room and personnel very good.
However, we normally have juice, coffee and and English muffin for breakfast. To charge us for a full breakfast is poor value. Dinner prices are fine.

This InterContinental is a bit unique compared to what you might typically expect from the brand. Given its proximity to the Cleveland Clinic, the overall atmosphere doesn’t quite have the traditional high-end feel usually associated with an InterContinental property. That said, the experience was still very positive.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, the restaurant food was surprisingly very good, and the hotel staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. While the environment may not live up to classic InterContinental standards, the quality of service, cleanliness, and dining more than made up for it. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, especially for anyone needing to stay in the area.

From the front desk to the valet service everyone was helpful and polite. We had a king suite and appreciated the extra space, the bed was extremely comfortable and all was very clean. The one complaint was the shower was not very hot, really only warm, so that was disappointing. But over all, very happy and will stay there again.

The hotel is very clean, the staff very friendly. The staff is very professional from the Front desk Staff, Restaurant staff and housekeeping everybody was very nice and professional I can not wait to stay there again!

My reservation is 1/24/26 with a cancellation deadline of 1/22/26. On that date I received an email from my airline to reschedule for free due to the Winter Storm Fern causing drastic travel disruptions and arctic conditions in Cleveland. The hotel front desk was inflexible in allowing me to reschedule my stay, I am losing my one night charge. There is complete lack of empathy or sympathy from the staff and management. Will NOT stay there when rescheduled.
