InterContinental Suites Hotel Cleveland by IHG

My first impression was that this hotel was quiet and calm. With the restaurant and bar a bit set off from the lobby it felt tranquil. We stayed the night before several tests were to be done at the Cleveland Clinic and appreciated the atmosphere. We ate dinner at the restaurant; I had the shrimp taco appetizer and it was excellent. My husband ordered the wings appetizer. I also had the breakfast buffet. I arrived about 10 minutes before breakfast hours ended. I was informed of that but chose it anyway. It was still well stocked and the hot foods were hot and the cold foods were cold. Service was very good in the restaurant both times. I thought the arrangement of the suite was good. The toilet and shower area were separate from the sink. It was was in a good sized area that opened to both the living area and the bedroom. The closet is in this area which I think serves as a dressing room. We used the coffee make for cups of coffee. There was regular and decaf. The hospital shuttle starts very very early and runs late into the night I would strongly recommend this hotel and we will stay there for our next trip to the Clinic.

I had a wonderful experience at the Intercontinental. I did an overnight stay because I had an early appointment at Cleveland Clinic. I had a fabulous dinner at the restaurant. Waitress was great and friendly and kept up with our drinks. Chef Derrick knows how to cook a meal. I gave my overall experience 4 stars because the rooms are in need of a remodel. Rooms should have walk-in showers and lazy boy chairs in the room for comfort. This should be an automatic since the hotel is on a hospital campus and most people stay at the hotel either have an appointment or procedure at Cleveland Clinic

The staff is incredible from the front staff to the valet. They all made the stay easier. The room we were in was so comfortable. We will only stay here during our future visits.

My stay was in association with a procedure that I needed to have at the Cleveland Clinic. During our stay I needed to extend our stay due to our hospitalization. So, my family needed to pack up our belongings and so we could head home when I was released. The person working the front desk -- Carlie Zielinski helped us process the extended stay. I needed to contact her after i arrived home and noticed some things didn't get packed by my family. She has made arrangements for them to be shipped to my house. In both cases I believe that Carlie went above and beyond to make our stay a very good one.

This place is absolutely disgusting.
The elevators smell like cigarette smoke. They book you a two bed room and consider two beds to be a “ pull out couch “
They screwed over our entire company with more than 20 bookings.

The rooms weren’t cleaned.
There’s actual poop stains in the bathtub.
Do not stay here

Stay was pleasant, however, the tub needs a block to prevent the water from coming out onto the floor. Almost had a fall due to unseen water in the doorway. Also, the thermostat could not be adjusted, it got to hot or too cold.

This was the perfect place for us to stay as one member of the family under went surgery at Cleveland Clinic and family was able to come and go to this nearby location. Once released from the hospital the suite allowed for our patient to have some privacy and sleep time for recovery while family could gather in the next room. Having a small fridge and microwave allowed for some smaller food items - but the hotel room service and food was excellent! It more than exceeded our expectations.

Very clean, quiet hotel with friendly, helpful staff and very convenient to Cleveland Clinic. The only down side is that if you don't pay for the valet parking, the nearest parking garage is two blocks away.
