Pros:

Bright, spacious immaculately presented hotel is the most picturesque of surroundings.

Rooms immaculately presented.
Separate shower and generous size bath for an evening soak before bed.

Spa, fitness suite and swimming pool again all to fabulous standard.

Could not fault our stay.
I will most definately be returning.

Cons:

During busy times long wait for evening meals (up to 1 hour) but quality of food was well worth the wait!

Staying for family wedding.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent value and plenty to choose from. Thought the food in the night at the bar was expensive. Felt the whole site downstairs needs a little updating.

Cons:

The bar meal was very expensive for the quality of the food, size does not mean everything. The decore could do with updating,

Wonderful pool and gym. Spacious rooms and beautiful grounds.
Pros:

Staff very helpful and friendly. It seems like the kind of place that would be selective but it was actually full of locals and down to earth. We visited for 5 days and felt very at home The pool and gym are excellent. A couple of jacuzzis, a steam room and sauna plus a nice sun bathing area made our stay seem like a spa treat. The breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

There were parts of the hotel that could do with an update. Our bed side lamp was missing and the other one was all bashed up but they replaced it. Our bath panel had water damage. We only had one tea spoon and there were no glasses or anywhere to put your toothbrush in the bathroom. There was also no fridge so we couldn't keep our snacks or drinks cool. All just little things that were not deal breakers but made it seem like cost cutting was going on.

Pros:

I travel for work at least once a month and this is the best hotel breakfast buffet I've had in a long time.

Cons:

Finding our room was a little bit of a maze. The gym and spa facilities are actually part and shared with a commercial gym, so you'll have non-hotel guests in there with you which means at times the pool will be busy/closed for lessons etc. No slippers or robes provided makes it a bit awkward getting back to your room after a dip, so remember to pack accordingly.
